Callie Mendez, Pendites United Member, realeases Political Fantasy Novel from prison with interesting details about the Grand Duke and Duchess of Umbrage
The investigation is still underway for the group tied to setting the Royal museum on fire. The group in question, Pendites United, is an extremist organization who’s mission is to lead SimDonia to it’s previous path before the monarchy was established. The organization is condemned by nearly all groups including the National Pendite Association who doesn’t agree with their extreme measures taken.
The SBI seems to believe that they’ve taken down the core members during their arrest of the secret hideout located in Hallow Slough. The hideout was discovered after video footage captured a figure near the museum after a theft was reported in Creeksbrey Palace. A message sent to the press hoping to further their agenda also helped zero in on the location.
Mendez is charged with Theft, Identity Theft, Treason and a number of other crimes. But it appears, she’d focusing on her artistic works. The novel, Foreign Affairs, is about two countries being at war with each other, but the foreign ambassadors have fallen in love and have to deal with the consequences.
Most people cannot stop talking about the book cover and how similar the character’s on the cover art resemble the Grand Duke and Duchess of Umbrage. It’s believed that TRH inspired the main character’s of the novel.
It’s unclear of Mendez’s legal fate, but as an author, many people are excited to get their hands on this book!

Cayden: Here’s your stealthy thief, Your Royal Highness. She’s ready when you are.
Emmitt: Thank you, Director Boswell. Also, I’d appreciate it if this visit was... kept out of public eye
Cayden: Fine by me, sir. You were never here.
Guard: You make any sudden movements, I do have the authority to shoot you.
Callie sarcastic: Wouldn’t dream of it, glasses.
Emmitt: Miss Mendez.
Callie scoffs: It’s about time you showed up here, Your Royal Highness.
Emmitt: Were you expecting me? Needed to get your hands on another sentimental possesion or maybe working on your next book?
Callie: The way Foreign Affairs is doing, that might not be a bad idea.
Emmitt: Cut the bullsh*t, Mendez. You entered my home, you shared a roof with my wife and my daughter. I can ensure never see the light of day again.
Callie: And yet, here you are, not doing that at all. Why is that, Your Royal Highness?
Emmitt flustered: Because! I need to understand why. You- you’re supposed to be this mastermind criminal hellbent on taking the monarchy down. But - but when you were “working” for me, it- it seemed like you were helping me. The Dukedom idea, the study sessions, but then you steal from me, you’re an identity thief. It just - it just doesn’t add up!
Callie: Look, calm down! I’m not the one you should be angry at. There are much bigger, much more dangerous forces at play here.
Emmitt: How can you ask me to stay calm, Callie? Is my family in danger?!
Callie: Yes, your family, your country, everything you hold near and dear is in jeopardy! And yes! I was helping you, because you’re the only Royal family member not completely entangled in the mess!
Emmitt: Please, Callie. Just tell me what you mean and what I can do to protect my family.
Callie whispers: It’s not safe for me to talk about this and I can’t reveal too much. But, Pendites United is still going strong. They barely made a dent when they got us. We’re all just lackies trying to get a paycheck and not get killed. But, I know more is coming.
Callie: And I was trying to help you win the Presentation Process. At first, it was apart of the plan. But, the more we worked together, the more I realized how much the Royal Family needs you. I wasn’t supposed to give you the Dukedom idea, but I knew it would help people see you as a leader with good ideas. I wasn’t supposed to take the tiara, but it seemed so personal to you that I figured you’d want to know why.
Emmitt: So, what was the original plan?
Callie: Well, to be honest... they initially wanted you because they didn’t think you were capable. They thought you’d be easy to manipulate as King. But, I quickly saw that that wasn’t the case. You had potential to be a great King! That’s why I did what I did.
Emmitt: So, what’s the motive? What’s the plan now?
Callie: At first, I thought I knew. “Take down the Royal Family” and “We Were Great as Dictators” and all that. It was almost believable. But, I don’t think this is about doing what’s best for SimDonia at all. This is personal. That’s why it’s more dangerous. They want to target your family specifically for taking down the Goths. They want you to pay especially King Spencer. Be careful. I wouldn’t trust anyone.

Cayden: See? This is why we need you back on the force, Terminator.
Conner: I gotta admit, man. This does feel pretty good.
Cayden: This feels amazing! After this, we’re headed to The Willow Lounge. Drinks on me! Double for you, Term.
Conner: I’m holding you to that, man.
Cayden to Marco: I bet you thought that little love note you sent to the Press couldn’t possibly backfire? Well, you can thank you friend there for committing not only identify theft, but actual theft! Both led us right to ya. Hey, your boss should be real happy we got that crown back.
Conner: Oh, for sure. I’ll be excited to pull that out of evidence.
Patrica breaks down crying.
Officer Mason: It’ll be okay, Miss Newbury. It’s all over. We’ll get you down to the station for questioning and then you can return home. These guys can’t hurt you anymore.
Chris: Alright, Spencer. Time to level the playing field...
