Foreign Advisor Kabir: Your Majesty, we’ve thoroughly investigated the situation in Umbrage with the two travelers from Viridis. 

Kabir: It has been determined that there is no threat to national security. The couple have returned to their home country. So I believe we can close this business for good.

Diana: That’s great, Mr. Patel. Thank you for looking into it and reporting back.

Monarchy Advisor Lydia: And what of the actions taken by The Grand Duchess?

Kabir: Creeksbrey Palace has recieved a rebriefing of all foreign affairs procedures and protocols with the lead officials, Miss Elmington.

Diana: That’s perfect.

Lydia: Your Majesty, with all due repsect, I hardly think that is enough punishment regarding the seriousness of the actions taken by the Grand Duchess.

Diana: Punishment? Miss Elmington, since when are we in the business of dealing out punishments for honest mistakes? Or anything really?

Lydia: Perhaps we should begin, Your Majesty. This incident could have put the entire state of Umbrage and the country as a whole in danger. It is my understanding that HRH’s business dealings were more important at the time than her duties as a Senior Royal.

Diana: Miss Elmington, HRH has had a business agreement with the Institution since HRH King Brother has reigned. She’s followed that agreement thoroughly and I’ve seen no issues, internal or external.

Lydia: Yes, I’m aware of the agreement and while HRH has done her part, she has certainly towed the line for many years. Especially recently. Her initial agreement hadn’t included anything about reality shows or stores across the Simverse. Don’t get me started on her many questionable wardrobe choices.

Diana: Has this become a problem? If so, I’m completely unaware.

Lydia: Miss Gale? Certainly you have an opinion. Has HRH’s business and overall image made an impact on things here in SimDonia?

Domestic Advisor Hannah: Uh... well, Miss Elmington, Your Majesty. Some citizens have expressed a... um, displeasure in some of Bria’s outfits and some concerns about a Senior Royal owning and operating a private business so... publically, but overall, actual sentiments are pretty positi-

Lydia: See? Displeasure and concern from our own citizens. Unneccesary and unneeded negative attention on the Monarchy, Your Majesty. And when we’re in such a fragile state of rebuilding.

Kabir: Are you being serious, Lydia?

Lydia: Of course I am! It is my job to protect the institution of the Monarchy and in turn, Our Queen.

Diana: What would you advise I do about this, then?

Kabir: As I said, the situation is handled. I don’t think-

Lydia: I believe the question was for me, Mr. Patel. 

Diana: Yes, what is your solution, Miss Elmington?

Lydia: I believe we need to ensure The Grand Duchess makes her Royal duties her main focus by setting up more guidelines for Senior Royals and advising HRH to dissolve the KBE.

Other advisors gasp

Diana: You believe closing KBE will solve this?

Lydia: Before this grows into a bigger problem, yes. It only takes one incident to turn The Royal Family into a disgrace. We can’t have these trivial things she’s working on shaping the image of the Monarcy. From her wardrobe to the talk show to a reality model show, HRH is constantly telling people what to think of The Crown. I believe only Your Majesty should be the person to do that.

Diana: I see, thank you. That will be all.

Isabella: You’re a really difficult man to get ahold of

??? (over the phone): That’s because I was trying not to be “gotten ahold of”

Ferdinand: How are you Isabella?

Isabella (over the phone): Not good, I need your help Ferdinand

Ferdinand (over the phone): Is it Liliana?

Isabella: Yes. She’s out to ruin us all. If word gets out about you, the press will be hounding your family too. I never got to talk to you about what happened all those years ago so I not this is arrogant of me to come to you now, but please, help me. 

Ferdinand: Liliana is angry. And she wants revenge but she wants chaos along with it now.

Isabella (over the phone): Why? What exactly is it she’s after?

Ferdinand: At first, her goal was her birthright. She wanted what she believed she was owed as the first great grandchild of the Vitali family which is to become the Duchess of Vitali. That was her original goal. 

Ferdinand: But that all changed when Raphael was born. She instantly knew he would get Duke Vitali’s favour, because he is a male. When she realised she would never succeed the title, I think it screwed with her brain. Now she just wants everyone involved to suffer like she and her mother did.

Isabella: But I don’t understand what my family has to do with a mistake made by the Vitali family

Ferdinand (over the phone): Liliana believes the royal family had the power to stop Duke Vitali from harming her and her mother but chose to turn a blind eye. So she wants you all to suffer too.

Isabella: But we had nothing to do with it

Ferdinand (over the phone): Actually... your mother might have known

Isabella: What?

Ferdinand: You’ll need to confirm all of this for yourself, but I think Liliana might be right. Your mother probably wanted all of this to go away quietly without getting on my grandfather’s bad side by interfering.

Isabella: Oh...

Ferdinand: I know this is hard to hear and there’s a lot you probably don’t understand about what really happened beneath the surface regarding my older brother. I’m sorry I can’t be of more help. 

Isabella (over the phone): No... it’s not your fault. You’ve been of tremendous help.

Ferdinand: It is partly my fault. I married into your family while I was in love with soemone else, only to throw everything into chaos because of a decision my grandfather made. Even if it was for a short while, I did love you like my own sister Bella. I trust you and I know you’ll fix this just please, don’t try and carry all of this on your own shoulders. And for both our families’ sakes, good luck

Isabella: Thank you Ferdinand

Hannah: I don’t like that family... but I’m grateful to her, Isabella

Ferdinand: So am I. But I hope that this is the last we ever hear of any of this.
