Nimben Palace, Red Room, ~4pm
Jim: Did she have any final requests?
Elissa: None that I can see. No mention of a preferred burial, who she wants there, anything.
Richard: She can be buried in the family plot, there’s plenty of space there.
Claire: Well, the kids didn’t have any requests either, other than to make it private and as few cameras as possible. I’d say that we should wait until Kate gets here before we make any solid decisions.
Jim: Speaking of Kate, where is she?
Elissa: She’s with Art and the kids. Things aren't looking too bright, so she wants to spend as much time as possible together as a family before it’s taken away from them.
Claire: Makes sense. So, I’m guessing that…?
Elissa: Kate says that she’ll be able to make it to the service, but Arthur won’t.
Richard: Soph will be home for the service, but she’s going back to school the next day.
Claire: What about Mom? She hasn’t spoken a single word since the news got to her.
Claire: Not to either of us. Or the kids.
Richard: Well, that’s surprising. I’d think that Mom would want to take solace in her favorite kid after losing one of her kids.
Elissa: Is this really the right time for this Rich?
Richard: Sorry. I’ll stop by tomorrow. See if there’s anything I can help with.
Claire: Jim and I can also stop by again this weekend with the kids. Maybe that will help.
Jim: We were there the same night that we all found out, love.
Claire: You have a point.
Elissa: Rich and I will head up. It’ll probably be a lot easier for us anyway.
Richard: Listen, if worse comes to worse, we’ll just bring her back down with us to Nimben. It’s no good for her to be rattling up at Landfarm alone without anyone.
Claire: Alright. We’ll see you on Monday.
