So... months ago, @thelittlehansy did this analysis so I thought I will do it too - bc Hans is definetely a princesses supporter and he loves all girls, cause ofc he is a sweet gentleman! But seriously, there is so many parallels between Hans and the Princesses - and that's not even a joke...

Similarities between Megaman X5 and Sonic Adventure 2

Sonic and Megaman X both have a keepsake of their lost one (Sonic w/Shadow’s ring, X with Zero’s Z-saber)

Plus random thoughts (assuming you played Megaman X5 and Sonic Adventure Battle 2, the plot lines are similar: for Megaman X5, the Eurasia space colony is on a crash collision to Earth because Sigma wants the virus to spread there and infect all reploids so Zero sacrifices himself and dies so it won't collide to Earth.

In Sonic Adventure 2, Gerald Robotnik -brilliant scientist- puts the Space Colony Ark on a crash collision to wipe the Earth and all of humanity because he's angry that his grand-daughter Maria got killed (and the whole story for Shadow the hedgehog's creation was to cure Maria from an incurable disease and the military forced him to use Shadow as a weapon instead). So Sonic and Shadow have to stop the colony from crashing the Earth and Shadow died in the process......

But then they cheapened their deaths because both Zero and Shadow were so popular (yes, fans demanded their edgelords back). Quoting Zero in X6 ("I hid myself to repair myself". Bruh like really? And Shadow comes back in Sonic Heroes with an more confusing plotline and there's a bunch of clones of him so we don't even know if he's the original.

Plus, Shadow the hedgehog and Zero are more similar than we think. Tragic backstories who both had someone very important to them die and essentially fuck up their feelings (For Shadow, Maria dies and for Zero, Iris dies….). They were never the same again….

An emerging quartet from Belgium named Felix Pallas has cast quite the eccentric spell on me with their brand of music on new single Similarities, which they dub “alien synth pop”. This slinky psychedelic combination of alt pop, indie electronica, and funky space rock is a refreshingly unconventional encounter. It’s a bit like Portugal. the Man gone Tame Impala, or Glass Animals gone Temples. Similarities is available on iTunes, here. The song seems to be this compelling four piece’s third single. Fire and Blood, Fire and Fury

Have you read “Fire and Blood, Fire and Fury”? It basically lays out the similarities in rhetoric between Dany and Trump–and how they both seem to have the same disorder. It also has a brilliant defense of Sansa in the final seasons as a bit of an afterthought because the argument about Trump and Dany is made without any shipping or character favoritism that would color an objective understanding of the language Dany and Trump use. It’s subtitle is something about how Americans are fascinated by authoritarian figures which may not impact you as an Italian, but I think you’d appreciate how the author combs through the book, the series and Trump’s tweets to see the similarities.

I haven’t actually read it but it does sound interesting! I think most human beings are fascinated by authoritarian figureheads. They often are ruthless and singleminded but they are also charismatic and people are drawn to them. As you know I find Daenerys extremely interesting as a character — and as the building villain she is imo — and for sure the parallels between Dany and Trump might be incredible to read. 

I will put it on my reading list, because you’ve actually unlocked in me a very avid interest about it now ;) though I might need to wait before reading it as rl right now is being a bitch and I don’t have as much free time as I would like. I’m assuming you read it, and I wanted to ask, does it ever come to play Daenerys quote about «being a new conqueror and as Aegon had conquered the 7K with Fire and Blood and dragons she had taken Meereen with rats and wooden cock»? Because that quote always did give me a vibe about her corruption beginning. 

Also, I’m always up for some good, rational — without shipping glasses — analysis and defence of Sansa and her attitude toward politics in the last seasons.
