I've always read the use of 'their' to mean that maybe Nina also has some interest in Mortimer and his money. Not that I've ever really gone with the gold digger story EAxis gives us. But if you squint, the implication could be there?

Also, my Mortimer often rolls a want to flirt with Nina when I start the game. Pretty sure she's rolled the want once or twice too.

Haha! Thanks. I was just imagining that the argument was about bills and then they just keep complaining about them the whole time they were doing it. And everything they were saying would have some ridiculous double meaning.

I made it (over) myself, and it's not on MTS, but I'm sure there's several other makeovers of it that are similar. :) I draw inspiration from others and others might draw inspiration from me. Plus some CC just works real well for the Goths.

Haha, my username really is pretty silly. There's a song on the college rock station in TS2 (I think this song came with Pets) that's a simlish version of The Compromise by The Format, and I misheard? (can you really mishear simlish?) the simlish lyrics of "meet me in the middle" as "meet me to the river" and, yeah, there you have it.

hi! are you the same threadandsandpaper who made those bunkbeds out of maxis BG beds? oh man, those things were awesome, i remember visiting that one Lj entry so many damn times over the years to redownload them when i was rebuilding/moving stuff.

Yup! That’s me! I actually managed to sort-of finish that project (I did all the ep & sp beds too) I am debating doing a whole mess of converson/cc beds… but I’ve got a few other things I’m working on and I don’t get a heck of a lot of time to sim….

It’s great to hear you like them! I know that people use them, but I never get to see them in screen shots the way I do with the simple photo frame meshes. Unavoidable side effect of a thing made specifically for small rooms :P

hey, could you fill me in on the bro trait? i just flicked through your blog to see if i could find anything but i can only see all the anon asks and the hate for it and now I'm really curious

It's one of the traits confirmed for TS4. There's actually not a lot known about it other than that it will unlock 'bromances' and that despite the name, it'll be available for both male and female Sims.

I know that sounds there's very little reason to get mad about it, but for me, the word Bro has a lot of negative associations, ranging from silly little annoyances like the fact that Bro isn't a gender-neutral term and so using it for both irritates me, to slightly larger annoyances like the fact that Bronies have made it impossible for my daughter to search for My Little Pony unsupervised. So since it was confirmed, I've been making posts mocking it. I seriously doubt it's going to make a difference to the game, but it makes me feel better, which as far as I'm concerned, is the most important thing.

have you played the most recent Bioshock DLC? what did you think?

I haven’t played the latest one yet….I’ve been pretty busy with work so I can’t say. I have seen some gorgeous pictures of it though and also heard some bad things, but I’ll be getting it as soon as I have a bit of freetime, so we can talk about it then :)
