jace being simon’s defender/guard dog will never not be funny to me:

1. we have all of cofa, especially that scene where him and jordan argue and he’s like uh i can protect him all by myself tysm

4. tftsa when jace visits to train him/check up on him

5. in the land i lost where he’s like simon did just fine when lily tells alec that simon didn’t bite him right

7. when jace threatens asmodeus to back off from simon in cohf

and most of these were because of clary initially but we all know the rest are because simon is jace’s only real non-family/gf friend lmao

i really hope we get scene where jace finally admits that he cares about simon or at least considers simon a close friend in the kickstarter books or even the black volume of the dead or something bc it’s just so amusing

EXACTLYYYYYYY. Jimon is for LIFERSSSS. I’m glad I have other people who throughly enjoyed Jace and Simons ‘friendship’ as much as I do!! I always thought it was underrated in the fandom.

I’m a truther that Simon was Jace’s best friend in a sense (Alec is like his brother, his parabatai there on a whole other level than best friendship I fear)

Also Jace constantly calling Simon “his” or “our” whenever someone tried to kidnap… STAND UP JACE HERONDALE!! Also when Jace said he enjoyed it when Simon bit him😭😭 TOO FUNNY.

Also, from what is implied, the only TMI gang members that survive in Thule ARE Simon and Jace!! “I’ll kill you jace herondale” - Thule Simon. When I say I need ANGST when these two meet again? Exactly. I will NOT be satisfied unless Thule!Simon is the one to kill Jace, that’s all I want in TWP!

The tales from the shadowhunter academy gang is literally so underrated, I’m always sooo upset Cassie killed half of them off!!😭😭

I absolutely loved Beatriz and Marisol, I hope we see them again!!!!! Also Simon’s friendship with all these characters was so funny, like the scene where the mundanes challenge the shadowhunters to baseball.

One of my fav TSC books, I wish we got flower cards for more of the characters 😭

i’m asking you and a bunch of people this but what do you think clary and simon’s music taste is?? simon mentions how they like “weird music” in tales from the shadowhunter academy and i know it’s probably alt or indie but what are some artists you think they like

Well I think the best way to figure this out is to the time where the book are set, 2007!!! Listen I’m no expert in 2000’s indie music so I’ll let these random Spotify playlists I found talk.

Some other bands or artists I can see Simon and potentially Clary liking is radiohead, Weezer, the killers and green day!!!
