rip ronance and stonathan you would’ve been so loved 🥹
I love how throughout the whole series Percy’s loyalty to the gods is tested but they don’t realize that Percy’s loyalty will always be to the ones he considers family; his mom, grover, annabeth, Tyson, camp.
It’s why even at the very end he trusts Luke enough to make a decision with that much at stake. He sees Luke: the Luke who took him under his wing when he first arrived at camp, the Luke who saved annabeth and grover, the Luke who was doing all this so his camp family could have a better life. Percy sees that Luke’s intentions were in the right place and in the end even Luke had his loyalty - something the gods never will.
I think the only issue I have with the show is that we never actually get to witness the extent of Percy’s water powers. Maybe that’ll be done further along into the series but I remember in books I would bookmark pages that showed him controlling whirlpools, or making mini hurricanes and I’m sad we haven’t gotten to witness that yet 🥲
May the Steve Harrington fandom never die and thrive for generations to come to the point where my children will be on this hellsite saying “omg I can’t believe dad used to look like this”
Olympus would’ve been cooked if sally ever said anything negative about Poseidon or Annabeth and Grover chose to fight with Kronos instead of against. The gods should consider themselves lucky
Crazy that some of them fought vecna, endured the upside down, and ran for their lives in jeans. If that was me I would’ve had to stop to change into sweatpants or something.
The final scenes where everyone was saying goodbye you can tell that was the cast saying good bye to the characters, the show, the fans, their family. It shows that change is inevitable everyone has to grow up and move on. The new generation will come to replace the old but our roots will forever be the same.
Espically the scenes with Robin, Steve, Nancy, and Jonathan. That was Maya, Joe, Natalia, and Charlie saying goodbye. The way Joe reaches for Charlie who’s one of his best friends in real life. They were all saying goodbye to the family they grew on set.
As for the younger kids… the final game is D&D was what started it all. A full circle moment. Everyone is off doing their own thing and the closed the chapters on their childhood and it pans to Holly racing, representing the new generation taking over.
