her name is lailah pearl, which is my islamic name and a twist on my last name

she really only wears neutrals and pinks (which is true to me irl lol)

lately ive been on a ballet kick, even though i don't dance right now, so thats for sure going to be a major hobby for her !!

i'm so excited for her to get her degree just like i'm working on to be an archeologist like me !!

also excited for her to meet and marry her future husband, noor, who i hope to marry irl (inshAllah!) he has pakistani heritage, hence the stunning desi nikkah looks :')

After I unpacked, I was tired and didn't really feel like leaving my hotel room. I ordered room service for breakfast and tried to watch TV and fell asleep. I woke up late in the afternoon so upset that I almost slept away the first day of my trip! I immediately got dressed and called an Uber to take me downtown so I could do some light shopping. (I'm behind on my sneaker game LOL). ...and Yooooooo I know im supposed to be here reflecting and spending time alone and what not, but DEAD ASS my Uber driver was FINE AS SHIT I tried to seem like I was interested in the city but as I stared out the window I could see him looking at me in the rear view! My heart was racing and I was feeling mad anxious in the backseat. When he stopped the car he turned around and told me he was free tomorrow night, and asked if he could text me! I played it cool but as soon as he turned the corner I felt like a little fuckin girl. That was crazy! I picked Toronto randomly and I feel like I was supposed to leave the hotel way earlier than I actually did, but I'm starting to think this all happened for a reason....or maybe I'm trippin! ~Quinn
