I made The Burned Grey in The Sims 4 because I felt like it
I’m really proud on how she came out, I hope you like her too.
Saffron & Stone - Ceramics & Cosmetics Studio — Sims 4 CC Build 𐃡
Multi-purpose functional art studio in Oasis Springs that includes cosmetic crafting, pottery / ceramics and painting mods - Businesses & Hobbies pack NOT required! & is mostly base game! 𐃡 Nestled in the heart of Cappadocia, Saffron & Stone is a creative haven where artistry meets serenity. From ceramics to cosmetics, painting surrounded by mountains and peacocks, sipping at our cafe or relaxing with hookah. Handmade, hands-on and full of inspiration. This was previously known as Cappadocia Clay - Pottery Studio but I renovated the lot since then and added Cosmetic Crafting and some painting overrides by Simkatu. It was inspired by Turkish and Moroccan interior design, and also bohemian, artsy elements which is my absolute favourite aesthetic!

Hello, friends! Content Plan for September 🍂
How are you?
I hope I haven’t tired you this past month with all my chatty posts, because I really enjoy talking with you and hearing from you, and I truly value that we have each other.
August turned out to be a tough month, especially these last few weeks. First, I got sick right when my mods broke and needed updating. At the same time, my work chair gave out, and I had to urgently find money for a new one. But all of that turned out to be small things compared to what came next — I was told about the passing of someone close to me.
In any case, I’m here, life is slowly getting back to normal, and I have things to share with you this month.
This month, you can expect:
— 1 new acc for poses
— 6 posepacks
— 3 animations
— 1 mod
Pose packs and animations will have early access for 2–3 weeks. The mod — 4 weeks. All content will be immediately available for patrons on the $2 tier and above.
You can get all the content for the month at once in a single archive — no need to wait. This option is available to subscribers for $10, or as a one-time purchase for the same price.

Your support in every little way means the world to me, and I never take it for granted. If you ever want to share an idea, ask something, or just talk, my comments, messages, and DMs are always open. I truly enjoy hearing from you and value each word you send my way.
May September feel like a gentle shift — cozy, grounding, and full of fresh beginnings. Let the crisp air inspire you, and may this month bring calm, warmth, and new sparks of joy 🍂
With love,
Vell

KAUFMANN DESERT HOUSE By Architect Richard Neutra
Resurrecting a very old build because I was once again researching the case study houses. Lost the files for this one, but luckily still have the screenshots!!!
Tried to make this as close to the real house as possible, based on the photos I could find.
One of my favorite aspects of this design is the position of the pool in relation to the rest of the house. While the floor plan is in a pinwheel shape, with each wing facing a cardinal direction, the pool grounds the design and makes it feel balanced.
Also every side of the house has a view towards natural surroundings. The full length sliding windows and doors blur the line between indoor and outdoor.
Building a second floor in Palm Springs was actually prohibited during the creation of the Kaufmann Desert House. Allegedly, it was because a second floor would allow people to peek into neighboring pools.
However, client Edgar J. Kaufmann wanted to "watch the sun set in the mountains while he lounges on a comfortable sofa", so Architect Neutra got to work. He designed what you would call a gloriette, which is a canopy, typically elevated, with a roof supported by pillars. It is open with no walls.
Neutra got around the rule by making the second floor a gloriette built on top of the roof of the first floor. Since this was allowed, Kaufmann and Neutra placed outdoor lounge furniture on the gloriette and dubbed it a living / lounging / entertaining space as well as a sleeping porch (which were common in desert homes at the time prior to air conditioning - allowing for incredible views as well as the cool night time breeze).
The Kaufmann Desert House is a classic and one of my favorite examples of midcentury modern architecture ❤️
