When trying to have a real discussion about poverty and veganism...
Actually, I would like to add to this one. As a vegan who lives 60 miles away from a grocery store, it's as difficult to go get reasonably priced animal products as it is vegan products (or vegan products at ALL). There are people I know who cant afford to drive that distance, and when they do they only buy junk food products like donuts and frozen pizza. I wish I could convince them to buy canned fruits and veggies, dried beans, and potatoes, which would be cheaper, but it really is a taste preference issue. :(
