Update Time!

Sorry for the silence lately, guys! Sinclair's been a busy butt, and therefore hasn't had the time to finish the surprise she's doing in the first page of the sketchbook she's sending me, so things are on hold right now. BUT! I just ordered that tablet up there. It'll be here Friday at the earliest, next wednesday at the latest. It was recommended to me by my Senpai, Sinclair, of course. And i'm gonna get right to practicing!

Excitement is Building!

It may be only a few days, but I am only getting more and more excited to get started. Especially since my Senpai, and close friend Sinclair (the one sending me some art supplies) has told me she's also sending a card. And she's doing something in that card. And it's a surprise. I can't stand surprises but it makes me so much more excited!!

At first I was really nervous and concerned, worrying about how badly I would do, how ugly my work would be. I'd end up thinking that I was just wasting my time and I would disappoint everyone. But I gave myself a firm smack on my head and remembered that I will improve the more I work on it. And as long as I put my heart into it, it will never be "ugly" to me.

One of the things that inspire me the most, are my friends. Seeing art they produce, and wanting to create art like them is something that gives me a big push I need. I look up to them and what they create, and hope that one day I'll be anywhere near as good as they are. I feel lucky being friends with people. Not because they are talented, but because of the great people they are, and they great friends they have been to me.
