Uncharismatic Fact of the Day
This little mouse has a big set of lungs! Alston's singing mouse is named for its unique vocalizations: both males and females engage in bouts of 'singing'. Although their songs may sound like simple chirps, they are actually quite long and complex, and contain elements in both the sonic and ultrasonic range.
