For dinner tonight, I decided to support one of my favorite local restaurants - @bigguyssausage_ The meal included Chicken Creole Pasta, Wedge Salad, Gumbo, Shrimp, and for dessert (not pictured here) Bananas Foster Bread Pudding. I paired with a 2017 “La Smilla” Barbera D’Asti DOCG. I bought the 1/2 size family meal, so I have enough for one more serving of salad but at least two or three of everything else. Tonight, I chose curbside pickup from one of my favorite restaurants - @autremondecafe. Green Salad with Feta, Oregano and Vinaigrette; Braised Berkshire Pork, Wild Mushroom Risotto; Dessert of Cookies and Berries. I paired the meal with a 2017 Chardonnay from Barra of Mendocino. I decided to support one of my favorite restaurants, fourteensixteen in LaGrange, by ordering for curbside pick up. There were two meals, so I will have the second one tomorrow night, featuring a chicken entree. For tonight, it was Smoked Trout appetizer, sides of Roasted Asparagus and Southern-Style Coleslaw, an entrée of Beef Wellington-Prime Striploin (Puff Pastry, Red Wine Reduction), and for dessert a Salted Candy Bar (Shortbread Cookie, Whipped Cream, Seasonal Berries).
