I’m sure many of you reading this recognize this next artist. @sinnerburrito does fantastic traditional art (ink on paper). Knowing how much work all that texture takes, I’m just blown away by the sheer amount of detail they put into their art.

@sinnerburrito is of course here on Tumblr and has participated in the Gentlemen’s Club edition of the Fallout Pinup Zine. They can also be found on https://limao.artstation.com and on Instagram. Be aware that some of their work is a little spicy, so if you’re at work, you might want to be careful just in case.

✋ Are your OC’s hands smooth, rough, or average? Why? How do they keep their nails? Do they bite them, paint them, neatly trim them, et cetera?

YES AWESOME I GET A CHANCE TO TALK ABOUT R5'S HANDS

Fairly unremarkable in shape/form. Would not immediately be thought of as rough, but definitely firm. Mildly callused. His nails are kept reasonably tidy, though it's not something he puts much thought into.

It's the color that's most noteworthy. When he's not wearing gloves (a habit carried forward from the institute) he has a fairly pronounced case of cyanosis. A moderately recent development, one that the institute kept their eye on, before he... left.

It's not something that's caused him issues, yet, beyond cold fingers and occasionally dulled sensation.

Given that he's now operating beyond his projected lifespan, he's more concerned about it as a symptom of greater problems - much like the scientists at the institute were.

Of course, they were looking to use it as a reason for his retirement.

7. favorite companions? least favorite companions?

“Companion” is kind of a misnomer in Coyote’s case. None of the followers in the game would call her a ‘friend’, and neither would she. Coyote can work with people well enough but her selfish and unpredictable nature means that most people will not get close to her, and even if they did she wouldn’t stick around for very long.

The exception to this is ED-E, Coyote’s buddy and the only robot she doesn’t hate, and Russel (mod-added). Depending on the canon she and Boone have a somewhat weird lover-slash-fwb-slash-I-like-you-but-will-never-admit-it relationship.

Raul is probably her favourite. She likes his stories and secretly loves old cowboy movies so when he started wearing the vaquero outfit again it made him the coolest person ever. She also warms to Lilly and secretly perhaps likes being spoilt as a ‘little jimmy’, maybe once.

Coyote and Cass are drinking buddies but aren’t particularly close since Cass is a loyal mostly law-abiding NCR citizen and Coyote is an asshole who also steals from the NCR. A lot.

Coyote didn’t have a good relationship with Arcade for the most part, mostly since Arcade is smart and refined and what Coyote would consider “an egghead to be bullied”. By the end game its more of a functional working relationship, Coyote won’t fuck with doctors (and by extension, the Followers) as for a mongrel like her they are often the only source of medical attention.

Coyote likes Rex but didn’t travel with him long, giving him back to the King when he was better. ED-E is basically her dog anyway.

Coyote hates Veronica. Veronica hates Coyote. Coyote blew up the Brotherhood of Steel and Veronica swore and oath of vengeance.

 24. can they read, write, do math, sing? did they ever receive an education?

Coyote is almost completely illiterate and never went to school or received any sort of formal education. The few words she does know are ones that she’s been exposed to more than once and have had other people read it out – she can recognise words like “Bounty”, “Courier”, “Caps” and all the swears. She recognises these words on their own but not the letters themselves, so if she were to see a word like “Bountiful” she wouldn’t be able to sound it out. She cannot write, she can copy words that she sees but it’s more like drawing than writing.

She can do basic arithmetic, mostly dealing with caps. A caravan guard taught her when she worked with the caravans in her younger years. She makes up for this lack of education with an absurdly good verbal memory. She remembers instructions and what people said to her verbatim if she commits it to memory.

Coyote cannot, and should not, sing. If she starts to do something that resembles ‘singing’ then its best to evacuate the area.

 42. name a random fact about your courier.

Coyote has starred in a few niche Tribal and Gang themed Golden Globes Pornos. She didn’t make a large amount of money from it but she did steal most of the on-set meals while she was there to make up the difference.

 50. what’s their happiest memory?

Coyote has a lot of ‘happy’ memories, but happy for her is subjective. She’s happy when she steals somebody’s wallet. She’s happy when the person she shot has a nice pair of boots in her size. Pre-FNV, Coyote’s happiest memory is when she briefly left New Reno, before she gave herself her name. The first morning she woke up alone in the desert, with only the clear sky above her and nobody around gave her a sense of peace and solidified within her the desire for freedom at all costs.
