I just had a thought last night...

The creation quad each are associated with a specific gemstone.

Dialga > Diamond

Palkia > Pearl

Giratina > Platinum (even though Giratina doesn't have a visible gemstone on its body save for its special item the Griseous Orb)

So I wonder, what does that make Arceus?

Arceus does have gemstones on its body, so one might assume it to be Jade or something (I wouldn't suggest Emerald because Rayquaza is already tied to that moniker).

I was thinking clear or natural Quartz, since it's particularly white in color much like Arceus's base body color.

I had one more idea in mind, maybe Arceus would be tied to specific stones that can produce a multitude of colors to signify the fact that Arceus's color changes with whatever type plate it equips.

Like perhaps Opal stones. It normally appears to have a whitish glittery appearance, but when placed under light it produces a sort of rainbow color, much like what you would see in cover foils for special cards, boxes and stamps.

Opal is probably the most accurate assumption I can make. Do you guys agree with any of these suggestions or do you have any other ideas as to what kind of gemstone Arceus could be tied to?

I just had one of those late night thoughts before bed and I want to ask you. What is your favorite battle UI/interface aesthetic in the Pokémon series? Like the HP/EXP/Pokémon name info bar, and the command buttons on games without the touch screen? I'm going to list them all from beginning of series to the current release so far (So no Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl, and Legends Arceus yet.), and I'd like to know which one(s) you personally like.

They say that Arceus was originally born from an egg within vast nothingness. But then I wonder about how that egg formed from absolutely nothing? And what was "nothing" anyway? Was it a defeaningly cold and pitch black place where absolutely no material objects existed? Or were there things like dust, floating rock, and young stars scattered about, but no life to exist and see the lack of anything?

Could the "hatched from an egg from nothing" theory be something of an allegory for the expansion of the universe, the big bang theory, if you will? It really makes you wonder. Maybe the egg that which Arceus was born from was created as a result of the big bang, the expansion of the universe. What are your guys' theories on the age old legend?
