More Jealous ghouls? With frostheim and sinostra0

Tohma called you to the vault for a mission briefing. You were the first one there, as far as you knew. That is until you heard clipped footsteps, the ominous echoing gait you recognized as Tohma’s.
“You really like to make an entrance, don’t you?” You turned around as he approached, settling within arms reach.
“I don’t know what you mean,” he said with a coy smile that meant he knew exactly what you meant.
“Of course, you don’t. You just have impeccable timing and such a striking presence, right?” You realized you were laying it on pretty thick, but how else were you supposed to warm up in the freezing vault?
“If you say so, I certainly won’t argue. Some tea while we wait for the others?” He guided you to sit at the chess tables and busied himself making you tea. Soon he brought two steaming cups and sat beside you, noticing you shivering.
You thanked him and brought the tea to your lips. It would be cool enough to drink soon in that frigid room, but the steam was helping suppress your trembles, as was his body heat from where he sat, your arms practically touching. If you were a little bolder, you would have nestled yourself up against him.
Now that would be a sight for the others to walk in on.
Voices echoed from the hallway. Kaito’s telltale squawking, occasionally punctuated by Luca’s calm responses. You unconsciously leaned toward Tohma to try to make out their words. He turned toward you, but didn’t shift away to give you room. By the time the chaos combo rounded the corner, you were fully pressed against his side.
Kaito’s jaw dropped. His eyebrow twitched. He looked from Tohma’s smug expression to you stealing his warmth.
“Dude, I told you we should have left earlier!”
Luca noticed the two of you being so close and his neutral expression fell a little.
“Apologies for the delay.” Luca approached your table and sat on Tohma’s opposite side. He accepted the tea that was offered and got no response from Kaito, who was still glaring at Tohma, when he offered to pour him a cup.
“Will Jin be joining us?” You asked Tohma. His face was so close, you noticed the sharp cut of his jaw and his noble profile.
“Unlikely,” he said as he took a sip of tea.
“Honestly, if he keeps slacking he should just step down and hand the reigns to you. I’m telling him to come over. Give me your phone.” You held out your hand, but all you received was an equally amused an incredulous glance from Tohma.
“Why? I’m quite certain you have his number.”
“Because I have some words for him and I don’t want to be the one to get in trouble.” You grinned at him, still holding your hand out for his phone. You sweetened the pot by putting your hand on his thigh and batting your eyes to convince him.
Tohma relented with a chuckle. He handed you his phone after unlocking it at watched you type out a message and snap a picture of your hand on Tohma’s thigh. You sent it before Tohma could protest, if he ever intended to.
Kaito was fuming. He took a seat on your other side and witnessing all of his worst nightmares unfold. He was ready to sink under the table and freeze into another ice pawn anomaly.
“Kaito, drink some tea.” Luca pushed the cup he ended up pouring when he noticed Kaito grew unusually quiet. “It’ll calm your nerves before the mission.”
“Sure! The mission! That’s the nerve wracking part of all this! Maybe I’ll third wheel there too!” Kaito dropped his head to the table, slamming it hard enough for him to grunt and regret it.
“Don’t be like that, Kaito. Come here. My other side is still cold.” You grabbed Kaito’s hand and pulled him toward you, until he was flush against your cold side. His eyes were wide, and part of him wanted to be placated. But he still saw Tohma’s crossed legs on your other side and remembered he wasn’t the only one touching your arm and leg.
Kaito leaned forward to glare at Tohma, who didn’t spare him a glance. You pushed Kaito back and leaned your head on his shoulder to distract him.
All talk of the mission was put off until you got an answer from Jin. Tohma’s phone had a read receipt, but no response came until Jin stormed in. He fixed his scowl on the four of you, you between Tohma and Kaito and rubbing your foot against Luca’s leg.
Jin huffed and crossed the room in long strides.
“So you decided to join us,” Tohma mused.
“Nope.” Jin scooped your hand off of Tohma’s thigh and hauled you up. He lead you out of the room, ignoring the protests and pleas for him to stay and see to his duties.
He brought you to his room for twenty minutes of angry cuddles.

You were tired after running around, filing reports and overseeing missions with various houses. When Romeo called you to his office for your next mission, you arrived to find he had stepped out to deal with some card counter on the casino floor.
Taiga was on the couch, reclining and half-asleep.
“Hey, kitty cat.” He called to you without opening his eyes. “Come warm me up.” He stretched a hand toward you and curled his fingers to beckon you closer.
You were too tired to protest. Instead, you dragged your feet over to him and flopped down on the sliver of the couch beside him. He curled his arm around you, pulling you partially on top of him. Your breathing became rhythmic, soon in sync. You were falling fast asleep when the door opened, startling you out of your doze. Taiga didn’t budge and his snoring didn’t stop.
Romeo was rattling off complaints to Ritsu about how to gouge the money back from the cheating gamblers when his eyes landed on your and Taiga’s entangled forms.
“What the hell are you doing, BB!”
“Waiting for you?” You mumbled. Romeo narrowed his eyes and looked like he wanted to say more as he saw your leg between Taiga’s. There wasn’t enough room for you to lay on your stomach any other way.
“Might I remind you that sleeping in public places, while not illegal, is uncouth and can result in a ban in an establishment such as this one.” Ritsu sat across from you and Taiga with a stiff smile.
“Even if it is illegal, no one here gives a shit, dumbass.” Taiga yawned loudly and shifted, leaning his head away from all the talking.
“If you keep calling me that, I will have you tried for defamation.”
“Try me, then,” Taiga snapped. You could hear the daring smile in his voice.
“Enough!” Romeo yelled. “BB, come here! Look at this case file.”
You pulled yourself away from Taiga and shuffled toward Romeo. His chair was set apart from the couch or any other seat, so you knelt beside him and rested your chin on the armrest. He paused, looking at your position for a moment with the resigned realization that it was really cute. He cleared his throat and directed your attention to the file.
While he went over the location and anomaly theories, his hand came to rest on top of your head and idly rubbed, seemingly without him noticing. You were too relaxed by the unusual display of affection from him to say anything about it.
“There, see, Lulu? Have her all to yourself now.” Taiga propped his head up on his arm and gazed at the two of you with a teasing glimmer in his eye.
“Shut up! Like I care about who some BB chooses to roll around with.” His hand on top of your head flexed, lightly tugging your hair.
“Yeah, yeah.” Taiga turned on his side toward the back of the couch, his back facing the rest of the room.
Romeo tossed the file on the table and crossed his arms, sulking after his crush was called out. Ritsu approached to grab the file, his attention lingering on the way you knelt beside Romeo longer than he intended.
“Ahem, if you would come sit beside me, I can summarize the rest of the evidence.” He held out a hand to help you up, locking eyes with Romeo as he received a glare for taking you away.
You ended up falling asleep on Ritsu’s shoulder as he flipped through the case file and woke to them in a full on shouting match over you.
