Curious about your thoughts on the Omega as a Palpatine clone theory floating around?

I think it’s an interesting theory and I could come up with a bunch of reasons why or why not, including the coloring of them, the jewelry Omega is wearing, the motivations on how they might want to address the Palpatine clones more thoroughly to make the storyline more coherent, etc. But, honestly, I don’t think Star Wars is anywhere near as interconnected as we wish it were, especially not in the top-tier stuff.  We’ll get cameos and we’ll get stuff like the Mandalorian storyline, but I don’t really see much evidence that Star Wars is super building on what it’s in other parts of the franchise, but that each story is doing its own thing, for the most part. It’s not out of the realm of possibility, but I’m wary of getting too deep into speculation territory because, genuine question:  Can you name one time that Star Wars actually built on something in this vein in the last 2-3 years?  The most you can say is Rey Palpatine or the Mandalorian storyline (which is Filoni’s pet project, so it kind of gets to be an exception), unless I’m forgetting something?

“ANAKIN SKYWALKER, GET BACK HERE,” Obi-Wan shouted after his Force Ghost companion.  “YOU ARE NOT DUCKING OUT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES. I’VE ALREADY DONE MY PART IN LEADING YOUR KIDS.  TAKE YOUR TURN IN THIS AND LET ME ENJOY MY AFTERLIFE.”

The situation was much more serious than that, of course, but Obi-Wan was feeling fed up and would rather not get involved in the hot mess that was the Resistance and the First Order.  He’d rather sit on the sidelines, making snarky commentary with Qui-Gon and Yoda.

Kylo stopped his swing in mid air from coming down and slaying Lor San Tekka. Has anyone else by his grandfather interrupted him, they too would find themselves on the receiving end of Kylo’s lightsaber. 

He slowly but surely lowered his lightsaber and then turned to face his grandfather. “As you wish, Lord Vader. But I will have that map to Skywalker, no matter what it takes.” He said heatedly, his tone a mix of obedience and rebellion in his voice.

Phasma sneered, half-certain she was only talking to herself as she wandered across a desert landscape of some backwoods planet she’d followed a bounty to. She’d been hearing voices, lately...seeing things. She’d had herself examined by medical droids three times, and each time their diagnostics came back with clear results. Nothing physically was wrong, but mentally...that was harder to determine.
