Mc looked at Yvette who was in the kitchen. Yvette since hearing that her dear Champion and beloved was pregnant had started to baby proof the house even thought they just got the news. Yvette was currently going through their fridge taking out all the bad food Mc and their baby didn’t need. Mc watched quietly smiling a little , it was aggravating standing and watching but it seemed Yvette had taken over all the duties so early on.

“Yvette?” Mc said softly “Yes darling” She answered as she seemed to be looking to see if homemade ravioli was okay to eat. “Don’t you think your, I dunno taking this a bit to you know far?” She asked smiling. “Of course not, I have to make sure you and the baby have a nice happy pregnancy full of only good nutritious food" She replied turning back with that smile.

Mc smiled that smile she had seen so many times never got old “Well darling If my ex demon slayer will assist me in helping me open the baby proof cabinet so I can get some canned peaches out I will be grateful” She said laughing some. “I donated them to the food bank with most of the canned fruits and veggies only fresh from here on out" She said.

Mc shook her head “babe that’s a bit much" she said smiling. Yvette smiled “Not for my girls" She said as she went over pulling Mc close. Mc smiled and she nuzzled into Yvette “Mm, you think it will be a girl?” She asked. Yvette held her closer “Nahara said the magic she used would only produce females" She said softly a little tense. Mc looked up “Ah, I see that makes sense a little girl I cant wait" Mc said kissing Yvette. Yvette kissed her and smiled “Yes I cant wait to spoil you both" She said.

Mc laughed “Yvette you do that now" She said smiling sticking her tongue out. “Oh, I know but now I can do it twice as much" She replied smiling. Mc laughed “I have a feeling we are going to have a spoiled princess" She said happily. Yvette nodded “That we are" She replies petting her head “Acacia will be a big sister and I have a feel she will be just as over protected of you and the baby as I will be" She said. Mc looked over at the sleeping pit who seemed to have noticed the changes before both of them.

When Yvette wasn’t home she always stayed by Mcs side. She smiled “I’m happy" She said as she seen peaches in the fridge and grabbed one. “When do you want to start on the babies room?” She asked softer. Yvette smiled “Soon I want to pick put colors for her, but I would prefer neutral colors. Pink is so cliché we’ll need to pick out baby names as well" She said.

Mc smiled and nodded “So what colors do you think would be appropriate?” She asked. Yvette seemed to stare into space with a confused look “I’m not sure, I was going to try and base the room around the crib and décor” She replied as she took the trash bag tying it up. Mc smiled as she started to beat the peach that’s when she got an idea about a theme “This sounds different but what about a circus theme I mean that is when we really met in a way" She suggested.

Yvette was surprised “Well we could and plants” She said as she gave a smirk on she had ideas now. Mc smiled “ You are to adorable but do tell me this idea you have for the room now?” She asked. Yvette smiled “ I have a few ideas, but for now rest" She said kissing mc forehead “this first trimester will be somewhat easy the next not so much.” She replied softly. Mc nodded “ sit with me on the couch" She said. Yvette nodded as they went to the living room sitting there. Mc sat leaning against Yvette who always kept her in a protective hold.

Since learning that Mc had become pregnant Yvette had checked out every baby book she could, reading late into the night and when she went to work the flower shop on break or between customers. Yvette held her close “Joyce and I are brainstorming the babies room what we will need and what we want" She said smiling. Mc looked back and smiled “Moms told me a bit of what you two are planning, as long as I get to help a little that’s all that matters" She said. Yvette nodded “I’m not going to lie, I’m a bit nervous about our baby" She said.

“Tell me dear" She said softly putting a hand on Yvettes. “What if I’m not a good mother, what if she hates me" She said softly. Mc shook her head “ I know she’ll love you, you are amazing and you will be an amazing mother I can already tell.” She said. Yvette chuckled “Do tell me how you know?” She asked linking their fingers together. Mc smiled “Remember how you were witch Acacia “ She replied. Yvette nodded “Don’t fret, becoming parents is a whole new chapter and learning experience" Mc said. Yvette nodded “Your right" She said as she kissed Mcs hand.
