This is the new Wonder Woman movie trailer which was released this weekend. The trailer looks really cool, but I'm still worried for the film. Recommend checking it out though.
Awesome! Thanks

“you can tell a lot about someone by the type of music they listen to. hit shuffle on your ipod, phone, itunes, media player, etc. and write down the first 10 songs. then pass this on to 10 people. one rule: no skipping"
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone - Hedwig's Theme (excellent first choice, media player)
Tchaikovsky - The Nutcracker: Overture: Decoration of the Christmas Tree March (so classy)
Neil Diamond - Hello Again (could be worse)
The Moody Blues - Forever Autumn (apparently I have no modern music)
Owl City - Fuzzy Blue Lights (eh)
The Killers - Change Your Mind (wouldn't be my music collection without the Killers)
Marina and the Diamonds - Rootless (yasss Marina)
The Killers - Sam's Town (what did I tell you about the Killers?)
Grease Soundtrack - There Are Worse Things I Could Do (I have no shame)
Pocahontas 2 Soundtrack - Where Do I Go From Here? (ending with a bang! What do you mean you've never heard of Pocahontas 2?)
I'm actually surprised by how non-embarrassing that was... how dull.

Rules : In a text post, list ten books that have stayed with you in some way. Don’t take but a few minutes, and don’t think too hard - they don’t have to be “right” or “great” works, just the ones that have touched you. Tag ten friends, including me, so I’ll see your list. Make sure you let your friends know that you’ve tagged them.
(In no particular order except the first one)
1. The Book Thief - Markus Zusak - One of only two books to ever bring me to tears and my favourite of all time. DO NOT see the movie if you haven't already. Please please read the book instead. It's perfect.
2. The Lovely Bones - Alice Sebold - The other book that brought me to tears. Near-perfect and very unusual.
3. The Hunger Games/Catching Fire/Mockingjay - Suzanne Collins - Counting the whole series as one here because I love them all. I love the whole premise and although the writing isn't outstanding, it's still a very captivating story.
4. Battle Royale - Koushun Takami - I read this to see whether the criticisms of THG copying it were valid or not but I ended up loving it just as much as THG itself. Basically the only thing the two have in common is the idea of children fighting to the death - which isn't exclusive to those two stories in the first place. It's one of the few books I've read that really had me unable to put it down.
5. 1984 - George Orwell - I'm a total sucker for dystopia and this is like, the overlord of dystopia. (Also want to give Animal Farm an honourable mention here as well!)
6. The Guy Next Door - Meg Cabot - I mostly read 'chick-lit' through my early and mid teens but this one was always my favourite. It's all written in emails and I thought that was really cool, plus I like the main character a lot.
7. Harry Potter - JK Rowling - Again classing the whole series as one here, but HP was my childhood and probably the books that will stay with me the longest. If I had to pick a favourite it'd be between Goblet of Fire and Deathly Hallows.
8. A Song of Ice and Fire - George RR Martin - Okay so this is still what I'm currently reading but it's really captured my imagination and I'm very much enjoying it. I started it because I wanted to read the books before watching any of the TV show and have just finished Storm of Swords Pt. 1.
9. Shiva's Fire - Suzanne Fisher Staples - I haven't read this in about 10 years but I picked it up at random from the school library one time and totally loved it. I think I read it three or four times and I should probably try and find a copy to give it a go again.
10. Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit - JRR Tolkien - The whole series, of course. I've only read them once but I love the whole mythological world - almost more than the stories in some respects. I think the languages and histories Tolkien created are fascinating.
Yay books!
