Shortly after eating the divine prashad, the queens were blessed with sons. Lord Rama, the divine incarnation born to Queen Kaushalya, who was destined to restore dharma. Bharata is born to Queen Kaikeyi, while Lakshmana and Shatrughna were born to her co-queen, Sumitra.
