Kenobi kept his arms behind his back, he knew that going to the Eternal Empire was going to be... difficult in the longer scheme of things. Not many knew it existed and even few knew the extent of matters there, but one thing was clear; Anakin had been missing and even marked as dead. 

He would have tried to find Wyndel, but the last time he tried that, both of them ended up trying to kill each other, and he didn’t want a repeat of that. Either way, he had to move carefully, and as such he ended up sneaking into the palace as best as possible to get to Revan, “You’re a sight for sore eyes.”

Kenobi had called Anakin out of hiding, he had managed to escape imprisonment once, but now? He wasn’t even going to put him in a cell --- this wasn’t exactly war, but it was close enough to it. 

If he had a choice, he would have had Anakin in a cell to keep him alive, and slowly turn him. However, he didn’t have that pleasure, and as such, he ended up threatening Padme.

“I was starting to think you wouldn’t come.”

    “You know, I thought you were TALLER last time I saw you, but those legs of yours really seem to fit you.” A faint chuckle escaped Kenobi’s lips, “Though, the Dark Side does do wonders for your complexion, Maul.”

He was hoping that Padme was alone. he wasn’t too sure if she had managed to hear the news about his so called ‘fall’, but there was always hope that she hadn’t. 

Not that it would have mattered in the long run, he had plans for every single situation that could happen, and there was a slight amount of hope that he wouldn’t have to actually hurt her. Small as it may be, it was just enough to prove that Obi-Wan, the real Obi-Wan was in there, but it was faint.

“Senator, I thought you would be with Anakin at this hour.”

Broken, beaten, and exhausted.

He didn’t even think about what had happened to Anakin, what the former Emperor did to him, and the fight that lead him to this place. He wasn’t killed, but it would have been a MERCY to kill him.

Vader, wasn’t feeling MERCIFUL that day, and he was put in chains. All records said he was dead, but a few key members of the Empire knew better. Those being the closest to Vader himself, but today? Today, the Emperor decided to grace him with his presence all together.

“Let me guess, you’re here to give me another lashing, Anakin?”

Three days, it had been three days, and Order 66 had been issued last night. Kenobi knew Anakin wasn’t gone --- he was still alive, he could feel him through the Force that he was still alive.

However, with Order 66 out, there were going to be many casualties, and hopefully? Hopefully, Anakin wasn’t one of them as he kept his arms folded behind his back with two Clone trooper’s behind him.

There she was --- his former Apprentices lightsaber. There for the taking --- all he had to do was reach for it and it would be his. It would be so easy for him to do so and to claim it it just would take a few more moments as he made his way forward.
