My Clean Diet Day 10 & Sitting is Evil :)
Breakfast: water, muesli, rice milk. Lunch: lentils stew Snack: pear, 10 cashew nuts Dinner: lettuce with vinaigrette, grilled chicken, small piece of cheese & bread Snack: Apricot ice-cream (sooo good, I’ll post the recipe soon) with grated dark chocolate. Am I eating too much? I’m still not sure how to eat. I live a sedentary life, apart from working out and cycling everywhere. I’ve just read that keeping the same position for too long is bad for you (and ageing), whether it is sitting or standing. So my challenge is to change this baaad habit. * I’ll use the alarm every 20 min when working on the computer and I’ll do 5 jump squats. (I’ve sat for hours on end…4-6 hours continuous in front of my PC!!!!No wonder my butt is mush!!!!) *I’ll also stand up to change the channel on the tv, just walking a few steps is enough apparently, * I’ll dance more often instead of just standing in front of the cooking stove. * I’ll stand up during commercials (and I’ll drink water :))) I think the important thing is to be aware of it and keep moving!!! Never thought fidgeting was good for you…
