damn it's almost like killing off the only reason the modern story existed destroys your plot? it's almost as if the modern story wasn't interesting bc of the war or the artifacts but bc of the characters themselves? it's almost like making the templars win every time makes the modern plot stale and pointless bc that's what happens when writers insert their own bias into narratives? crazy thought

the way you guys will idolize people to the point where the entirety of your politics and the foundation of your morality lies upon the worship and exaltation of a select few is absolutely bonkers.

the intersection of leftist/progressive ideology and stan culture is such a weird area but so prevalent among the younger generations. all you guys know is celebrity worship and great man politic. your support for palestine resting on the shoulders of motaz, bisan, or whoever is reporting on the ground in gaza shouldn’t exist. you should be supporting palestinian liberation and an end to their genocide because it is the just and moral thing to do.

on the same note, their voices and actions, while influential and important in some respects, are not the definition or absolute way one should think and act in regards to palestine. their antiblackness is not some mishap or minor character flaw that can be overlooked. you should not downplay or minimize the damage their rhetoric has done simply because you vehemently support them or believe them to be the sole palestinian/gazan voice.

please never lift individuals to the level of sole authority, sole speaker, or sole leader of a movement. it will only work against whatever cause you claim to support.
