this looks delicious! any chance you could post the recipe you used? ( ´ ▽ ` );
Here you go! This recipe will make a 13″x19″ pan - when I made this little batch I just cut everything in half.
For the sauce: I’m lazy with lasagna, I either use my favorite jar sauce or get some canned crushed tomatoes and doctor it up with onion and garlic, basil and oregano. I brown a pound of ground pork (regular ground beef is okay too) and put a bit in the sauce and then save the rest to put in the lasagna as a meat layer.
The ricotta filling: 1 egg, 1 32oz container of ricotta cheese, 1 cup shredded mozzarella (save a handful to go on top later), 1 cup parmesan cheese, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tbl. fresh parsley, 1/2 tsp. oregano, 1 clove garlic. Mix that all up and put it in the fridge while you make/doctor the sauce and cook the pasta. If you can chill the filling for at least an hour, it will taste even better.
1 lb of sliced mozzarella (sliced thin is best)
Cook 1 box of lasagna noodles according to directions. (Don’t buy the no-cook stuff, it’s crap.) If you are able to get the soybean sheets, they are VERY thin and you will probably need 2 boxes.
The layers! Put a little sauce in the bottom of the pan, then noodles, then smear some ricotta mix on the noodles, then cover with thin slices of mozzarella, then some more sauce. Keep repeating that sequence until you run out of noodles or pan space. (If you want to do the ground pork/beef layer, put it about halfway through, between a layer of ricotta and mozzarella cheese). Cover that last layer with some sauce, sprinkle a little shredded mozzarella and parsley on top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes, and then take it out and let it sit for at least 15 minutes before serving. And the leftovers are FABULOUS when reheated.
(I copied this from my stained, torn recipe card, and I realized that I’ve had this recipe for over 30 years! OMG. OMG.)

4) favorite character you’ve written Sanzo is my favorite to write - I love making him fall in love, even though he will fight it tooth and nail. (I love writing Goku, too, but Sanzo is more fun to write.)
17) if you could give your fledgling author self any advice, what would it be? ‘Write what you want to write.’ I used to feel bad when people would say that my stories were ‘sweet’, and in the first exchange I did one of the commenters made a crack about me making her teeth hurt. That upset me, and I almost stopped writing fanfic. It’s taken awhile, but I have now embraced the fact that I like to write romances. (The story that got criticized was my first 585, and I think the experience kind of traumatized me with the pairing. I decided recently that I need to do another 585 story to get over it!)
23) any obscure life experiences that you feel have helped your writing? I traveled a LOT as a child and teenager - my parents and I pretty much camped our way across the United States. So I have been to a lot of cool places, and I use my memories when I write.
