just looked at all the generations, that's weird as fuck.
Also how many monsters are introduced each time, how many actually were there from the start, it's wild as shit.
4th gen might be my favorite, or 3rd,
Fifth of course I am playing so I haven't looked through really, but I am liking what I have seen thus far.
I wonder if there is gonna be a portable centric 6th gen, like optimized for switch 2 and steam deck?
And wilds for sure needs glavenus and some more, maybe a major expansion drop like what they did for world and rise.
Also something like gu would be sick.
All the worlds and rise and wilds monsters in one game, bringing back classics that haven't been around. In a while.
Or hell just do them all, and even the subspecies reworked (or some could be missed, I won't care about ruby basarios and the like much).
I suspect they don't add to many world monsters to new games simply because it is an ongoing MMO, and thus more sales can be made by people who just want to fight world exclusive monsters. But hey once they've squeezed that dry they will add more to new games.
Also this new ultimate should have wacky abilities, like in rise and gu. Underwater combat.
Negative skills. Return blade master and gunner stats in armor( but as later mechanic, without new assets cause that probably makes it actually affordable, maybe more like the rampage skills in rise, something you just plug on to turn artillery and focus and sharpen into alternative skills. Etc).
Also talismans that can be found in the wild again. Maybe at least from special monsters ( they could have swallowed the talisman from dead hunter and the lie idk).
And optional UI handholding, unlike wilds.
(also for fucksakes either kill crit draw or make properly dedicated individual sets that are a little rarer like the black set in gu, I want greatsword armor that does not want to run around swing and run, I want to charge tackle and kill godfamnkt ghrgrgrgaaaaa)
