Darius, back at it again with cool waves debuting his newest visual to his song, “Dos Equis.” The rapper, songwriter, and producer is a 23-year old dreamer and musical innovator trying to make it out of Alaska with all of his marbles. He is well known for the infamous song, “Hipster Chick Girl” which also happens to still be one of my favorite songs, along side F*** SXSW and The Regular Tape as collectives. “How Did We Get Here” is an album Darius put out more recently.
Darius teamed up with his older brother, Dustin, aka SK8GOD, for the directing and editing of the video and production of the beat. Sk8ty has recently produced a beat that Curren$y was featured on. He also released, “Sk8ty Perry The Beat Tape” and produced beats for Polyester The Saint and Gifted Gab earlier this year. Most of these can be found on SK8GOD's SoundCloud, so be sure to have a listen.
I love everything about this song, from the beat, to the lyrics, to the visuals! It gives off really chill vibes and I’m happy when I hear it. It definitely makes me want to take a load off somewhere beautiful and have a Dos Equis, or two.
