Ok, so. I have an ask from @solarishashernoseinabook (thank youuu) that was requesting something Skandia related, but I didn't finish the main thing that I was going to post for the ask. I still want to post it sometime, but I also want to post something for today, so here's a separate post 0u0 (cute smiley emoticon).

I was skimming through the book looking for certain scenes and read that part where it says something along the lines of how when Cassandra started lowering the warmweed dosage Will started having seizures and. I completely forgot that was a thing?? Like. ok. makes sense given that's part of withdrawal symptoms.

But imagine being 16 and trying to nurse your other 16 yr old drug addicted friend to health, with no prior knowledge related to withdrawal other than "ween him off and he'll hopefully get better", and see him doing this "weird convulsion" and you're so worried that that's it. He's probably going to die now, for all you know, and you'll never see the old him ever again. Then through some miracle, he survives, but then he does it again. And again. And each time you're worried that it might be the last.

And it's like. Wow. Holy shit. You used to be a princess living in a castle but then your friend gets brutally murdered and you steal her name to survive and then one thing leads to another and you almost drown while being taken away as a slave. Better learn the basics of cooking quickly! Your friend is dying of cold. Partly because of this, and his inherit good nature to try and help people, he gets addicted to warmweed. You don't know this. You don't understand when he doesn't react to you when you call his name until one of your captors takes pity on him and explains it to you so you can run away with him... and then. You know. What I said above.

(And I didn't even mention the whole "if your identity is found out you'll be publicly executed. Good luck!" thing.)

Will will never be the same happy kid she met #her own dad doesn't even understand. no one will. except Will #but she can't talk about it because Will “doesn't remember anything” (eyeroll)/would be too triggered by it #/they're just to busy with. you know. her being crown princess and ranger's apprentice #AND THEN WHEN YOU DO GET TO TALK TO HIM ONE OF HIS OLD FRIENDS/LOVE INTEREST GETS FUCKING JEALOUS.#look I love Alyss but thinking from this POV she's a bit of a bitch. get urself under control they're close bc they were SLAVES.#in my au maybe she does get jealous but she realizes its nonsensical bc some emotions just are and you cant control them. and she doesnt #like. take out on cassie. and she's like. if they are in love at least will's happy. i'll move on. it'll be hard but thats what needs to be #done.#anyway.

So recently, I've been celebrating over the fact that I managed to get my bro to read the RA series.

He's obsessed with it now, obviously, and I take every opportunity I can to remind him and shove it back in his face that he once called the series Boring (I know right? How could he!).

Anyways, I was eating in the kitchen when I brother came in and said to me, "I like Handel."

Now, he is currently up to reading Icebound Land.

So, I looked at him funny and asked why, he responded with,

"Well, because he gave Will the rags and the warm-thingy"
