is papyrus sans?
this sounds dumb. it still sounds dumb and im the one who made it. this is still a theory i genuinely believe(as of writing this) which is why this isnt on https://www.tumblr.com/teateaterribleutdrstuff.
anyway this all stems from sans being from deltarune and what happened to the original sans from undertale.
what first got me thinking about this possibility is watching funny bones. "you know, they just kind of... showed up one day and asserted themselves" i know this line is in the game i just first thought about it there. anyway, this says both sans and papyrus came together.
so papyrus is also from deltarune, right? but papyrus doesnt bleed, he dusts. a thing to note is his head survives after he is hit though, kind of like toriels soul
as for why the proposed timeline is what it is, a bunch of contradictions i found which i dont remember, sorry for being unhelpful
the proposed timeline and details:
*note that this uses gaster as the older brother in undertale and younger brother in deltarune
*i am also not sure when at least one of them changes font
gaster makes interdimentional travel machine(original purpose doesnt matter)
human pushes gaster in core, papyrus watching and thus getting anti human trauma,
papyrus manages to get machine to send him to deltarune after being unable to fend for himself
sans finds him and adopts him as his brother already knowing how to live
papyrus teaches sans magic
papyrus becomes more real to match the not as magic food
roaring happens and sans and papyrus make it to undertale
papyrus is real enough to have the same amount of determination as a boss monster and get deja vu(his head holds his soul while he dies)
