He and Papyrus are similar in that they don’t really particularly care about them, but they like playing the annoyed straightman for people who do. Toriel loved teasing him with bad science puns all the time.

Ok, I haven't been feeling great lately so I was just doodling this post-void pile of bones to cheer myself up, but then Awilddaydreamer convinced me to finish it lol. So here you go. Gaster and Sans have no idea they are being carried, having passed out in random places. Good thing the Great Papyrus never sleeps! Blue magic would really come in handy with two young children! In Gaster's case, he could carry them both while still having his hands free for smoking. I could see the brothers having so much fun with blue magic, too! Too bad Gaster botched it in the main timeline. : [ Careful, Gaster. Whew, I finally finished it! I know I'm late, but man, art block has been kicking my heinie lately. Well, here it is: my tribute to Undertale's 2nd anniversay! Can't believe it's been that long already, it's been so much fun! I am so glad I found this game and the community. The fanworks in particular never cease to amaze me! I have also come across some truly amazing people thanks to this game (you know who you are)! And then there's the game itself, of course. No matter how much time passes, it'll always have a special place in my heart with its loveable characters, heartwarming story and different approach to classic rpgs. With that said... Here's to another year of punny skeletons, goatparents, sexy robots and fishwives! Here's to Undertale!

My collab with InnocentiaSanguinis, which was very therapeutic in dealing with Gaster's fall, lol. Featuring a Mercyplates scenario version where Gaster took Sans and Papyrus in as babies (ergo no handplates). I did outlines, Inno did coloring and shading. ((I know I said I'd do a comic page next, but I need to, uh, make some minor changes after recent events)) Man, that last Handplates update was just... wow. Didn't expect it to happen like that but at least it was quick. *sigh* I really wish Gaster had gotten a chance to see the surface again. I love that skele. Based on this comic by Zarla-s. I've been struggling with some art block lately... then I remembered a conversation I once had with Caitielou-askew about how, if Gaster chose Mercy, he'd have to deal with both the responsibilities of being a parent and Asgore constantly looking over his shoulder. He'd probably be so tired he'd drink his coffee straight from the machine. Well, I opted to have him drink it straight from the pot for simplicity's sake. This might work better if they were older and Gaster had decided to spare them after starting the experiments... and honestly, I wasn't sure whether to have Asgore play with Sans and Papyrus as babybones or as their 'older' Mercyplates versions. It was a tough call, but eventually decided to go with the babybones version because that gave me the opportunity to have Asgore act out Fluffy Bunny with enormous bunny puppets lol. Gaster could probably recite the story in his sleep. Ah, the joys of being a parent.
