Think about it for my Machine Emperors were the certain of their kind to bond with Aporia. Z-One knew that his friend shared bonds with the three. They were damaged, nearly dead, soon going to meet the fate of Z-One’s own. Z-One willingly merged the creatures with cards and gave them their ‘En’ forms, and the tenors bonded with them closely, even if it took years for them to even meet their true forms, for a little while. The Machines know they aren’t who they once knew. They still serve them. There’s a sputter of “Aporia” or “Oh...so you don’t remember?” every now and then, and there’s complaints. They’re just as big a part of Yliaster as Z-One’s androids. Think about, Lucciano is essentially a child. Since I don’t think he’s anti-social, his lone friend would be Skiel. Sure there’s Placido, Anti and Paradox, but Skiel’s going to be the one for him. Skiel’s approach to him in reality was, “Yes, our kind killed your parents. Yes, we are destroying your planet. But trust me, I’m not going to hurt you.”
And then get to the WRPG/Start of Ark Cradle(cause Going my Way!! wants to proclaim arcs). Placido or Lucciano has doubts about fusing into Aporia. Lucciano knows that if they fuse, only Cubic and Asterisk will matter. He knows his friend will be gone. José attempts to form Aporia, but Lucciano won’t accept it. Skiel matters more to him, he knows that Z-One will find a way to explain this future to Yuusei. José and Granel are destroyed by Yuusei and Shooting Star, and José furious at Lucciano. Placido’s to the point where he realizes that Lucciano knows. Z-One has been using them. Lucciano knows that if Z-One really cared, he’d have brought back Paradox or returned Antinomy by now. And José attempts to straight out ‘kill’ Lucciano, when Skiel appears, and takes Granel’s slaughter cannon. Skiel’s smashed against the wall, falls apart. Even still, he manages to stand with his last bit of strength, willing to defend his friend from this person called a part of the Aporia he knew. At this point Wisel is out and ready, and both Lucciano and Placido know that if they have too, Asterisk will come into play. By this point Team 5D’s has seen it, as well as many other WRPG teams. This enemy, and his monster, is fighting against the one who seems to be the main threat.
Skiel is dead. Wisel is barely struggling to keep above what Skiel faced VS Granel. Asterisk is gone. By this time, Lucciano summons Skiel En. “This is my partner! And even if you destroy him, his bond will be with me!” he declares, as the small robot willingly stands up against this powerhouse of a Synchro Killer. It’s just Skiel En and Wisel facing Granel. José’s managed to increase his life points. Placido knows that Lucciano would rather be killed than suffer the pain without Skiel.
Granel aims, fully ready to blow off Wisel. Lucciano calls off the attack, reaiming it to Skiel En. “Why did you destroy the last fragment of Skiel?” “Because Wisel matters to you like Skiel did to me. Sure you’ve been a stupid idiot and a terrible duelist, but nobody needs to suffer like I did!” By this time, it returns to José’s turn. “Grand Slaughter Cannon!” the most inhuman of the Tenors calls. Wisel’s about to be destroyed when...
“Shooting Sonic!” It’s Yuusei, and Stardust. “What the hell!? But I tried to kill you and your friends!” Placido remarks. Yuusei ignores, and continues the duel. Granel is destroyed, José returns to Ark Cradle. Yuusei stands there, holding Stardust’s card form. He looks at the fodders of Team New World, and now the essentially removed members of Yliaster. “I’m sorry about Skiel,” he says, Lucciano looking down.
“I know what it’s like to lose a bond.” Yuusei reflects on Kiryu and Jack, his days with Team Satisfaction. “But I also know how to form one,” he stares at the young android, who’s obviously in despair. “Skiel was my friend. Skiel was the only one who truly mattered to me at this point,” he says, depression in his voice. By this time, Bruno and the rest of the Signers are here, at this point. “There’s always room for redemption. And that’s why my soul still burns!” The king remarks. Both androids stare. The most prideful and least trusting member of the Signers, Jack Atlas, straight up says “It’s fine.”
Lucciano smiles and explains Z-One to the Signers. Placido sits behind, disappointed he was never told anything. It’s a learning experience for all of them. Placido manages to cut Lucciano out of revealing that Z-One ‘is’ Yuusei, a lone surprise. Antinomy is explained. Paradox being left behind is what really pisses the head Signer off. Team 5D’s enter Ark Cradle.
Yuusei and Dark Glass find a way to stop the Gear without sacrificing one of them. Crow and Aki help Sherry. José, now merged with back-up forms of Lucciano and Placido duels Jack and the twins, and Rua is revived once again as the Sixth Signer. Placido and Lucciano stay behind, only to find themselves dragged into it. Z-One is confronted. He’s surprised to not only see Sherry, but Placido and Lucciano turning on him. Z-One prepares to duel Yuusei, when José appears. He fills in the Aporia roll.
The story plays out as usual. Z-One was defeated, and Yuusei now knows he must repair the Momentum. Bruno happily joins in, as he exists in this alternate timeline. At the very end, Lucciano looks at Placido and asks, “What’s our purpose now?”. Placido smiles and tells Lucciano, “I think we can decide that now.” Placido leaves, but not before a familiar voice is heard. “Aporia. Thank you.” The Duel Spirit of Skiel is back. He’s injured, wires sticking out, wings broken, his legs(the concept will be here one day) without a fair way to support him. It’s sad to see him this way, but Lucciano runs up and hugs his friend. “I’m sorry Skiel for letting this happen!” The bird-thing ‘smiles’ as Placido realizes that maybe things weren’t so bad. Then Wisel appears. “Hey, what happened to Skiel?” Turns out José managed to turn Wisel’s memories off. Placido face palms as he begins to explain the misadventure.
