Oh my god I was watching Shrek 2 with my son the other day and something occurred to me.

We know Prince Charming is ACTUALLY a Prince, yet he was raised alone by The Fairy Godmother. Shrek as a series is KNOWN for taking great attention to detail...I can’t help but wonder if Charming’s Father is a specific King from any known Legend. Who though? Is he FGM’s biological son? Did she win him in a deal? Or did she straight up steal him as a baby??
