I’d Drink To That|| PMD Event: Plumeria & Aidan

@skullsbigsis Aidan fluffed his feathers happily, dimming the cafe’s lights as it transformed into a bar scene. He sent a few embers to the candles scattered about the room with expertise, the fire and sunset casting a warm glow through the establishment. A unique brew of customers began to file in, the usual guild regulars and individuals with varying morals settling together at the bar and conversing without hostility. Aidan slid an Old Fashioned to a silent charmeleon before turning back to the entrance, the jingle of his door chiming as another pokemon entered. A gloomy looking roserade shuffled in, looking around the room before setting her eyes on him and approaching the bar. She looks like she’s having a rough night... This was a normal occurrence at the bar, Aidan would often joke that he was an unlicensed therapist with how many pokemon come to vent about their troubles to him. Unlike most bartenders he’s met, he actually enjoys helping pokemon and consoling them. The roserade plopped in front of him, leaning on the bar causing a spark of familiarity to flash in his mind. He clacked his beak into a gentle smile when he recognized her. Plumeria. She is or was, a part of Team Taboo. Despite what pokemon may think, it wasn’t easy living in the gang life and he’s seen first hand how stressful it can be. It wasn’t a life lived through rose-colored lenses.  “Welcome to Hondew!” Suddenly a pun came to him. Don’t do it Aidan, you’re going to get your ass kicked. But since when did he ever listen to himself?

Re: writing style, for Green at least it's his humor. Twisting everything into a light-hearted sort of joke. It's really memorable and fun, even if it comes from a not fun place in him.

that’s what green’s all about; even in his worst moments, he’s been taught that he can’t let his pain show through, and it’s only been so recently that he’s learned to be himself and love himself genuinely. he’s in a weird transitional stage where his genuine voice and sarcastic voice are one and the same; and knowing green, it’ll probably stay that way

Gangster AU (lmao)

ooooo sweet this is good stuff

- probably a low tier member, intimidation factor: 0, nobody really knows why she’s there (at least not the newer members)- she feeds information and spies on rival gangs. being stealthy is her thing, as well as knowing the ins and outs of pretty much every place in the neighbourhood. but she freezes a lot and can’t think straight when pressured, so she never participates in commanding the ‘front line’, only contributing during planning- the ex gang leader tried to kill her to kick her out since they thought she was useless and a vulnerability to the group. julian (her brother) saved her ass and threatened the leader, so the rest of the gang treated her with a sort of fear/distance for a while since julian was just about the bloodthirstiest member- julian now serves as an “executive” of the gang (jesus im so sorry i keep thinking of this in terms of mafia). they focus mostly on black market / gambling for a living. dawn…doesn’t necessarily like it but she’s too scared to run. also, she almost sorta feels guilty to leave now that the new leader has a sort of dependence on her intel. - only kill ever was a rival gang member who ambushed her. in her fright, she fired her pistol at point blank

The ever-classic college AU!

Candice is that friend that always studies for tests and does really well on them. People always ask her how she gets such good marks on tests, to which she usually just says, “I’ve actually been studying for my tests instead of goofing off.” Most people don’t know whether to be offended or agree with her.

Despite being such a Studious Nerd, she actually still “goofs off” quite a lot. She goes to parties semi-regularly, but never actually drinks alcohol– she goes mostly to hang out with her friends.

She probably runs like three different clubs because she’s a show-off because she loves always being busy. 

She would major in something like veterinary science, or if we’re talking a Pokemon-verse college then she’d be studying Pokemon Biology/Conservation/Distribution/etc.

She pulls all-nighters with ease. You’d see her the morning after one and never guess that she’s running on nothing but willpower and black coffee.

BONUS: If Candice never became Snowpoint City Gym Leader, she probably would have pursued tertiary education! She loves learning about things, especially when it comes to Pokemon.

((green gets about as much of himself as can fit from his armspan, and usually tries to go for a flirtatious look - biting his lip, a wink, a kissy face. he always tries to smile his widest)

((Green texts with absolutely no capitalizations or punctuation. any sentences he makes are made apparent by line breaks. he texts?? kinda like i do omg w like excessive ???? and using ,,, for upset/shock. he doesn’t use many emojis but he also uses ™ for emphasis, which is an emoji. green is Me guys. me when i’m texting))
