Opening Act || Aidan & Theo
Theophanes listened to the other speak. It sounded like a wonderful adventure. Evidently their mothers were similar, even if they traded places, one starting in Kalos, one finishing there. It put a smile on his face to listen to such nice memories. Research forgotten, Theo focused on Aidan eating out of his hand, which made him laugh even more at the way Aidan licked his lips.
“You’ve got good taste,” he said first, before thinking on the other idea. “There are good maps of Alola around. The place I work has a few if you’re interested. It’s my day off, but they’re used to me coming in anyway to pick up something to read.”
He turned the book he was reading over in his hands, setting it gently in his lap and stretching a bit, rolling his shoulders and straightening his legs before relaxing again.
“Then again, sometimes getting lost leads to the best adventures, non?”
“That sounds like an interesting idea! I’m sure my own map is completely updated, it seems it labels the mega-mart as an oncoming attraction.” Theo’s last comment gained Aidan’s boisterous laughter, who nodded his head in agreement. The most amazing adventures he had were always unplanned, for example this particular outing. He watched Theo relax and tilted his head as he considered asking the Alolan native for help. If he were going to be honest, he’d also love his company in general, their conversation flowing naturally and quite amusingly.
“That’s quite true, the most exhilarating adventures I’ve had were completely impulsive!” He paused as he watched Theo settle back and relax. He contemplated on requesting Theophanes to join him. From what he’d learn the pink haired male enjoyed reading, apparently worked somewhere with books- most likely a bookstore. Knowing his own luck, Aidan was certain he’d get into some kind of trouble and he’d endanger his new friend. “If you don’t mind spending your day off in an adventure however, I’d love your company? I have to warn you though, I often get myself into... unpredictable situations.”
