Based off of a new hc i have regarding spirits; Spirits may not be able to truly die but if they get injured enough, they're incapable of holding their spirit form together and so they revert to the form of a little star/ball of light until they regain their strength and can project their real appearance again :3
And if they get even more injured/hurt in that form, they shatter; returning back to Megabird and then have to wait like a day or so to get their spirit form back

So, you've come to me to learn more about Corruption and Darkness, huh? You crave answers as to how it all affects us? Our own world and sides of things?
Well then. Sit down and watch as I, a Corruption Survivor if you will, show you the answers.
Their lore is based off of the way my last Beta Eden Runt went, long story short, a long time ago, while the ancients were still alive, they were trying to climb the Mountain of Eden and it exploded in their face, killing them instantly and sending them to the Pity Room or "Purgatory" as i like to call it.
Well since Resh wasn't stuck in the purgatory as they died, they landed in a separate void from him, meaning he couldn't help them escape, and so they were stuck in the void for hundereds of years.
The Void corrupted their soul from the inside out, causing them to develop strange abilities. They managed to somehow escape the void during the Season of the Little Prince, but their strange abilities remained.
They can now temporarily "project" things from their core, similarly to the Void of Shattering! The twist is that they can actually control their projections and transfer their soul into them, so they can become a krill or a manta or whatever, whenever they wish! Their original body falls into a coma-like state when they "turn" into a different creature though, as their soul is no longer in their original body, instead being nested in the creature of their choice.
