Skystar being Tumblr 2026 top 100 ship is actually crazy because it's literally just a ship born out of one episode of the show that came out in the 80's. One episode that established a backstory and a dynamic between 2 characters that don't even interact in that show again. And after that? One arc in an anime from the 90's half of the fandom didn't watch and one story arc in the comics series from the 2000's. But in the modern times, last 10 years or so? Bearly anything. Some mentions here or there but an actually interation face to face about their past connection that last longer than 3 seconds? It's a miracle if they both exist in the same timeline. And yet! Number 100, beating several other ships this website loves, inclueding 3 canon mlm ships from Transformers series that have much more content inclueding an on screen/page love confession.
