It's the end of the day, you're lounging on the couch waiting for your boyfriends to return. You're dressed in cute pajamas, planning to spend the night snuggled up watching Halloween movies.
You hear the key in the door followed by Katsuki's gruff voice, grumbling something about damn kids on all the roads.
You see Eijiro step inside the house, followed by Katsuki.
“Hey!” You greet, jumping up to go give them kisses as they drop their bags.
“I missed you,” Eijiro says, wrapping an arm around your waist as you plant a kiss on his lips sweetly.
Katsuki pushes him out of the way, though not with much force, and kisses you next.
“Long ass day.” He says, before kissing you one more time. “That helps. But I need a shower.”
“Wear the matching pajamas on the bed.” You say, smiling brightly.
“Huh?? Matching pajamas again? Like, damn last year's Christmas.” He complains, but doesn't refuse. He can't when you look so adorably excited.
He steps back from you, taking his boots off by the door before heading towards the hall to shower.
Eijiro rests his head on your shoulder from behind, wrapping his arms around you.
“Do I get matching pajamas?” He asks, voice sickly sweet like always. He's one of the purest souls, and he never fails to show it.
“Of course, yours are on the bed, too.” You reply.
“Yesss!!” He says, sounding like he's just won the lottery. He runs off to change, and within two minutes flat, he's back at your side.
“I showered at the agency, so we're just waiting on Kats.” He sniffs the air, noticing the smell of food. “What's that smell?”
“Dinner! Almost done.” You reply, kissing his cheek gently.
“You're the greatest girlfriend ever, I swear.” He says, scooping you up in his strong arms and forcing you to lie on the couch with him. His arms are warm around you, and you can tell this cuddle isn't just for you. He handles the frustrations a lot better than Katsuki does, but he still deals with tremendous stress daily. You cuddle there until Katsuki comes out, his hair wet and wearing Halloween pajamas.
“These are dumb.” He says, though he's not scowling like usual. If you look in his eyes, you see a sort of happiness that he's trying to hide. Leave it to Bakugo to be unable to admit that he loves wearing matching pajamas with his boyfriend and his girlfriend.
“Don't lie, you like matching us.” You scold, scrunching your face up at him playfully.
“Yeah, yeah. Getting all comfy without me?” He asks, raising a brow, gesturing to you and Eijiro's intertwined bodies.
“Just waiting for you to join us. Get in here.” Eijiro says, and thank god you'd all gotten a huge couch or you'd be completely crushed. They're warm and comfortable like home.
“I smell something good.” Katsuki comments, stomach growling to punctuate his words.
“Yeah, that's dinner. Give it like 5 more minutes.” You reply, kissing his hair softly. He doesn't pull away, of course, because he's finally gotten used to the love you shower him with.
“Fine by me. Could lie here all day.” He says, and Eijiro chuckles. It's always moments like these that Katsuki is at his softest.
“Me, too.” Eijiro agrees.
In a few minutes, you peel yourself away from the boys to go prepare plates. You all eat together, watching the movie, enjoying each other's company. After dinner, you simply cuddle up. The soft rise and fall of their chests as they breathe relaxes you.
After a long day of hero work, all your boyfriends wanted was a relaxing evening. Eijiro has fallen asleep, snoring softly. Katsuki is close behind, with his eyes fluttering closed. Before he dozes off, though, you hear his voice softly break through the silence.
“Thanks for the lunch, babe. I know I'm a punk sometimes.” He says. (Translation: 'I'm sorry for acting like I didn't want it, ’ but he's too prideful to say it directly.)
“Of course. I love you even when you're a punk, Kats.” He just kisses you and finally drifts off to sleep.
Flufftober week 3- Satoru Gojo x Reader x Suguru Geto
summary:Candy, cuddles & Halloween classics with her loving boyfriends. What more can a girl ask for on Halloween? WC1.7k
an: poly with satoru and suguru will do it for me every time. My babies. I want to protect them from pain🥹
flufftober masterlist
It's Halloween night, and after a pretty exciting party, you're ready to relax with your boyfriends. You've all changed into comfortable matching Halloween pajamas, which didn't even take much convincing. It smells like the fall wax melt you'd all chosen together. Wax melts, instead of candles, because Satoru had a habit of leaving the candle lit, which stressed Suguru to no end. The wax melts chosen had taken an hour of each of you smelling them, and bickering, until you finally found a common ground, but that's just how you are. You bicker, but it all comes from love.
There's a big bowl of candy on your lap. Suguru is grabbing the remote and putting on a movie, and Satoru is turning off the lights. Satoru tosses a comfy Halloween blanket at you, smiling playfully. You catch it, lifting your bowl of candy to smooth it over your lap.
“You ready, baby? Bet you're gonna cry.” Satoru teases. “This one's supposed to be really scary!” He quips, bucket of caramel corn in one hand, flicking the light switch with the other.
“Don’t be mean, Satoru! I will not!” You chide, throwing a pillow at him. It doesn't hit him, of course, and he throws it back on the bed with a laugh.
“Satoru, be nice to our girl.” Suguru purrs. “It's not her fault if she gets scared. And she's allowed to turn it off at any time.” His long, inky locks are tied up into a half bun, and the loose pieces are falling delicately. He's a pretty man, truly, and he knows it.
You smile, sticking your tongue out at Satoru- your facial expression screaming ‘I WIN!’
He just rolls his eyes and jumps, flopping onto the bed next to you and spilling some of the candy, but somehow still managing to spill none of his popcorn. Bastard.
“Hey! Watch my candy!” You scold, and he side-eyes you, before reaching into the bowl and taking a piece.
“It's our candy, Princess.” He comments, tossing the piece into his mouth. He throws a piece of caramel corn in after. “Whoa, chocolate and caramel corn? I'm so stupid, I've been missing out.”
“It's a miracle you don't get tired of sweets,” Suguru says, walking back to the bed.
He settles in on the other side of you, pulling the blankets up. He hits play on the movie, and it begins.
“He'll never get tired of them, he's like a garbage disposal for sweets.” You add.
“My snacking habits are not on trial here!” Satoru defends himself.
“Maybe they should be,” Suguru mutters. “But we'll talk about that later.” He adds as the title scene finishes rolling.
Even Satoru’s non-stop talking doesn't keep you from jumping at every little sound. It's a scarier movie than you expected, with some of the jump scares actually eliciting screams and your hands covering your eyes.
Suguru leans in to your ear when he notices you looking particularly scared. “Just say the word and we can turn on something a little less...jumpy” He reassures, hand coming to rest on your thigh.
Satoru's already had his long arm around you and his hand resting on Suguru for some time now. He has an adorable tendency to wrap around you both like a koala bear. Suguru gets irritated often by Satoru hanging all over him; he says he's like a drunk girl at a party sometimes. But if Satoru ever stopped, Suguru would be crushed.
You shake your head, determined to finish the movie. “No, it's Halloween, Sugu. I'm okay, really. It's just got so many jump-scares.”
“Scaredy-cat. Not gonna have nightmares, are ya?” Satoru pokes at you, smiling mischievously.
You shake your head, crinkling your nose at him.
“Satoru- shut up and watch the movie.” You say, firmly. Maybe too firm, because he actually listens, for a few minutes at least, which is unlike him.
You continue watching the movie, eating candy and popcorn, and enjoying each other's company. Suguru's hand is warm on your thigh, his body leaning close to you. Satoru is now lying with his head in your lap, after pushing the candy bowl to the side, and for a moment, he ignores the movie completely, blinking up at you with his oceanic eyes.
His voice is a whisper when he speaks.
“Are you mad at me?” He asks. You can hear Suguru scoff, and he playfully ruffles Satoru's hair. Of course, he's overthinking during the movie, just because he'd been shushed.
You shake your head, confused by the question and squeeze his cheeks for a minute, looking down at him. He's cute with his cheeks all smushed, and his white lashes blinking up at you. He really is beautiful. You're unsure how two men were created with such beauty, but they're yours, and that's all that matters.
“No, you big softie. Why?” You say, jumping a little bit as there's a scare on the TV, again.
“Because I won't stop annoying you.” He says, his voice a little muffled from his cheeks squished together. “And you told me to shut up.”
You just laugh, and Suguru laughs too. You release his cheeks and lean down to kiss his forehead.
“Satoru, we *love when you annoy us,” Suguru says, a hand coming to thread through Satoru's hair. He looks so soft in your lap.
“Yeah, my love. Even when you talk through the movie. We're not mad. I was just messing with you.” You reassure him, and he smiles. He turns his attention back to the movie, and to your surprise, the one who jumps at the next scare is Satoru.
You, of course, take the opportunity to make fun of him. Payback for his earlier teasing.
“Aww, who's the baby now? You want me to cover your eyes, Toru bear?” You tease. This time, Suguru scolds you. He's fair with his reprimanding, at least.
“Angel, if you're going to dish it back, I won't be so quick to defend you next time.”
You chuckle and pout a bit, but smile at Satoru after. “Okay, fine. Truce, Toru?”
He rolls his eyes but picks his head up to steal a kiss from you, before flopping back down.
“Truce.”
Suguru slips behind you, getting comfortable with you leaning back against his chest, and Satoru adjusts to make space for him. You're completely enveloped in their comfort. You pet Satoru’s hair as if he's a puppy in your lap, the man turning to putty in the hands of those he loves. For a man who's usually so strong, he allows himself to finally relax with you and Suguru, and Suguru can open his heart and be honest when he's struggling.
Moments like these ground you three, even while watching a horror movie that makes your heart race.
Suguru is holding you with his strong arms, planting kisses on your hair every so often. And, of course, twirling a little piece of Satoru’s hair around his finger every so often, wherever he can reach. The movie isn't so bad with them wrapped around you.
When the movie ends, you're looking for another one when Suguru speaks up.
“I just wanted to say thank you for spending today with me. You both help so much when I'm not feeling great.” He says, voice carrying the softest and most genuine tone you've ever heard.
“That's what we're here for, Sugu.” You reply, turning and reaching to kiss Suguru, landing on his bicep.
Satoru props himself up, looking directly at Suguru for a moment. “It would never be the same without you, Suguru.” He says, and the seriousness in his voice leaves no room for argument.
Suguru smiles, and his eyes are bright when he does. He's truly happy, you all are. Satoru meets your gaze next, gripping your chin gently. “And that goes for you, too.” He kisses your lips gently, a quick, innocent kiss, and you smile. There's nowhere you'd rather be than here, with your boyfriends, relishing in each other's company.
“I love you both. I don't know what I'd do without you.” You reply.
You choose a different movie, one that's less scary and more of a comfortable Halloween. Suguru leans back, closing his eyes slowly. He's usually pretty tired, especially after days like this when you'd all been out socializing and having fun. You all need rest. You and Satoru both clear the snacks off the bed before snuggling up to Suguru on each side of him.
Suguru chuckles at you both. It's adorable, really, the way you both curl up to him like two spoiled house cats. He didn't know how much soft dedication like this would warm his heart until you'd all gotten together. Now, he's addicted. He could have an arm around each of you for eternity. When life gets to be too much, you're both there, arms outstretched, ready to hold him.
“I love having each of you close to me like this,” Suguru says, voice quiet and sleepy. “And I love you.”
You and Satoru both reply with a sleepy 'I love you too’ and nuzzle in closer. It's perfect. The room is only illuminated by the TV playing, though it's quiet now. You can all hear each other's breaths and feel the rise and fall of each other's chests. As you fall asleep together, the same thing is ringing in all your minds: this is what home feels like.
bonus flufftober: multiple MHA characters x reader!
summary: MHA characters reacting to horror movie night! 💗 (inc. sero, kaminari, kirishima, bakugo, izuku, toga, ochaco, monoma, all might, aizawa, hawks & dabi) wc2.07k
an: Happy Halloween!!!! 🎃 This is a lil bonus i put together for flufftober since I never write enough fluff. I just picked random characters that flowed well for me for this one.
Sero-
Sero isn't really scared of horror movies, but he gets into it. He's the one who's always shouting “No, bro!! Don't go in there!!” As if the character will hear him through the TV. But as soon as he notices it scaring you, he leans a head on your shoulder.
“You gettin scared, beautiful? Wanna turn it off?” He'll ask. No judgement from Sero, he just likes lazily enjoying your company. So if you'd said yes, he would've just smiled and done it. When you insist it's not that bad, he just chuckles. “That's my brave girl. Well, c'mere and let me wrap you up tight. If anyone ever tries to mess with you, I'll swing in to save the day.” He'll say reassuringly, and you'll smile and snuggle up to him. His room is so comforting, with the scent of incense wafting through the air. You relax when he holds you, and he even covers your eyes for you at some of the really bad parts.
Kaminari-
You'd picked a slasher, one that's not super scary and more corny than anything. That didn't stop Denki from being scared, though. He'll squeal and latch onto you, whining while his arms tighten around you. You're used to him being a little bit of a big baby, though, and you love him anyway. It's endearing.
“It's so scarryy!! Be my protector!” You'll play with his hair to comfort him. But when you finally jump at one scene, he jumps into action to comfort you like the lover boy he is. Even if he's scared, he'll do his best to put on a brave face to make you comfortable.
“Don't worry, lightning bug. No one could touch you when I'm here. I'm not afraid to get zappy.” He'll say, pulling you into his chest. Even with his brave face, though, he still almost flings you off of him the next time he jumps. But it's cute that he tried.
Kirishima-
Kirishima is such a man, he's ready to actually fight the movie villain for scaring you. He doesn't like the gore, finding some of the bloodier scenes to be too much, and the screams bother him sometimes. But he doesn't really get scared, so when he sees you getting spooked he's ready to make it all better. You're already leaning into his chest, so he'll just wrap his arms around you even tighter and kiss your cheek sweetly.
“Don't be scared to squeeze me if you get scared, babygirl. You won't hurt me no matter how hard you hug me.” He says, and you squeeze him a little tighter. He'll play with your hair while you watch the movie, sharing his snacks and passing you your drink. He's such an attentive boyfriend, you don't even have to make it to saying that you're thirsty or need a snack, he's just already on it. He leaves a little light on in the hallway that night, just in case you have a bad dream.
Bakugo-
You're watching a movie, some psychological thriller that didn't even make Bakugo jump. But you, on the other hand, were hiding behind your hands. After a pretty scary jump-scare, you've screamed in surprise and hidden behind the blanket for a moment. He notices, immediately scoffing.
“You scared? What happened to my lil spitfire?” He teases, with a smirk.
You smack his arm for teasing you, and he just wraps an arm around you. He's all talk, but he's really soft underneath it all.
“It's alright, I'll save you. Don't gotta put on the brave face around me, nerd”
He holds you close for the rest of the movie, and when you nuzzle your face further into him his ears turn red, even if he hides that under all his bravado. And you don't tell him, so you don't crack his whole ‘strong guy’ act, but the next time there's a bad scare, you hear his heart beat quicken. You tighten your arms around him, not just to comfort yourself, but for him too. He kisses your head, mumbling something about “never letting ya go.”
Izuku-
Izuku really doesn't like the gore in most scary movies, and he always gets startled by the jumpscares. But most of all, this man won't stop rambling through the whole movie.
“You know, if this were real life she wouldn't be able to survive that first attack.” And then that would lead into the statistics of horror movie tropes.
But when you get scared, hiding behind your hands, he's right there to make you feel better.
“Oh, baby, did that freak you out? Here, come closer to me.” He'll say, pulling you closer. You'll trace the expansive scars on his arms, and his hands, to distract you from the scary movie. He'll pull you closer when either of you gets scared, and pepper your shoulders, neck and hair with kisses as you watch. It's really comforting to him to just kiss you or softly run his hands on your skin. He does it to relax himself so the movie doesn't get under his skin too much. When he covers your eyes for a bad scare, you chuckle and call him your hero. “I'll always be here to save you, baby.”
Toga, Ochaco-
It's movie night, so you, Toga and Ochaco are sharing favorite snacks and watching scary movies. Toga is lounging on her stomach, happily kicking her feet as the movie starts. She won't really be scared of any of the gore, she'll actually be interested in those parts because of her affinity for blood. Ochaco, on the other hand, is cringing and hiding behind her hands the whole time. “Ochacooo, are you scared?” Toga teases, poking her side. Ochaco tries to act brave, shaking her head, “No! It just startled me!” She'll insist.
“You're so cute when you're all scared.” Toga quips, jumping up to lean onto her shoulder happily. “Don't worry, I'll stabby stab anyone who bothers my favorites!” Toga says, throwing her legs over yours as she leans on Ochaco. “Thanks, Himiko. It's a little bit of a freaky movie. But it's okay.” Ochaco says as she leans her head against Toga's, too. You pass them the popcorn, and Toga tries to toss pieces into your mouth as you both watch. When you jump, getting scared of a particularly spooky scene, Toga plants herself between the both of you, just to make sure she can ground you both. She takes your hand, then ochaco, and holds them in her own, resting on her warm thighs through the entire rest of the movie.
Monoma-
Monoma will be the most self righteous ass while watching the movie, but he'll comfort you, too. You get scared and he'll laugh, “Ha ha! Told you you couldn't handle it! Don't worry, I'll protect you, my precious baby.” He'll tease, and you'll push him away by the side of the head. Not with much force, just enough to tell him to shut it. He laughs and pulls you a little closer. “Well, just don't be scared to hold my hand.” But after all that cocky talk, 5 minutes later he's jumping too, spilling all the popcorn in the process. You'll tease him back, and he'll just roll his eyes. “Whatever! Just hold me, you know, so you don't get too scared.”
When you do, he'll hold you like a precious jewel. As annoying as he is sometimes, he really cares for those close to him, so he'll do all be can to be close to you. He won't let go, not even for a second, and when you squeeze your arms around him he's kissing your cheek. “It's alright, gorgeous. Your savior is here to protect you.”
All might-
Toshinori would honestly be the best horror movie buddy. First, he'd provide so many amazing snacks just to ensure you're eating enough. And he'd have the most comfortable bed set up, just because he wants you to be able to relax fully. He wouldn't really like horror movies, but he'd enjoy how strong it makes him feel to make you feel safe again. You scream at a scary part and cover your face. He's kissing your head softly immediately. “Hey, don't be frightened. I am here!!” He'll say, comfortingly. “You know I'll always protect you, don't you?” He asks, and you take his face in your hands and kiss him sweetly. “I know, Toshi. Just…can you hold me? It makes it less scary.” You ask, and he wants nothing more than every ounce of affection, so he obliges immediately. You're wrapped in his arms, with the blanket tucked up comfortably, and he tightens his arms every time he notices you getting a little more afraid. He's even got the remote ready to shut it off IMMEDIATELY if it gets too scary, but he won't push you because he wants you to feel strong, too. “I've got you, darling. I've got you.” He'll mumble in your ear, to comfort you.
Aizawa-
Aizawa was supposed to be watching a horror movie with you, but he grew bored of their irrational decision making and he hardly stays awake long enough to finish a movie anyway. You weren't surprised, or upset. He has such a demanding life, you like to be his peace. If he's able to sleep around you, good. He deserves the rest. So, you proceed with watching the movie on your own, eating some snacks and trying not to wake him up when you get scared. But, one scare is too much and you scream loudly, kicking him in the process. “Sorry!” You say frantically as he wakes up. He looks at you immediately, sitting up. “What is it? What happened?” He asks, looking around the room for any sign of trouble. “I didn't mean to wake you, it was just the movie scaring me.” You explain, and he just pulls you close to him and rests his head in your lap. “Dont feel guilty. I'm here. I'll stay awake for you. Would you like to play with my hair? I know it comforts you.” He offers, and you smile, bringing your hands to his wavy, inky locks and playing with it. It makes you feel better, and the next time there's a scare, he's rubbing your leg gently. “Youre safe when I'm here, love.” He'll murmur, soothingly.
Keigo/Hawks-
Hawks would pretend he's a little bit afraid of the movie, just to make you feel less nervous about being scared. You're surrounded by blankets and pillows, almost like a nest. It's so comfortable, he's a pro at making comfy little snuggle piles. He sees you jump, but pretends to be spooked himself. “This movie's intense, little bird. Come a little closer.” You know he's not really scared, but he noticed that you were. You scoot in closer and he wraps an arm around you, rubbing your arm with his thumb softly. When you jump and hide your face, he helps cover your eyes. He pulls the blankets around you more, and passes you the snacks whenever you need them. He soothes you with gentle touches when you're scared, and even has your favorite stuffed animal right beside you for your comfort. “Easy, dovey. It's alright. You're safe with me.” He reassures you.
Touya/Dabi-
Touya isn't great at comforting, he's never been comforted much in his life before you, so he'll tease the shit out of you.
“Aww, c'mon, really? I don't scare you, but the idiot killer in this does?” He teases, but he pulls you closer anyway. He just doesn't make a show of it, and if you say anything he’ll push you away with a crackle of fire. But if you don't say anything, he'll let you rest your head on his shoulder.
“This guy doesn't even know how to play the long game. No plan, he just runs straight in, how boring.” He'll judge the movie, and you'll roll your eyes, but it's nice because it leaves you less scared. When you jump really badly, covering your eyes, he'll laugh in that gravelly voice of his, but he'll let you curl into his chest. He doesn't want to admit it, but you relying on him, feeling comforted by him, even protected, it does something to him. “You're all I've got that's only mine. I wouldn't let anything happen to you, so just relax."
summary: Choso grows impossibly frustrated with his hair. Luckily you lend a helping hand. He returns the favor with your eyeliner. WC.1.07k
flufftober masterlist
Choso is sitting on the ground, in front of the mirror, trying desperately to perfect his hair. He's done it close to a trillion times now, and yet he still seems to have bad hair days. He's tried so many times, and they keep coming out uneven, lopsided or just wrong. You're supposed to go to a Halloween party together, but he's coming dangerously close to saying to hell with it and staying home.
You hear a loud groan, and his voice drift out of the room with a whiny, “WHATEVER! I GIVE UP!”
You walk into the room, slowly, lingering in the doorway as you see him pulling bobby pins out of his brunette locks. His brows are furrowed, and his hands are fumbling.
“Cho, what's wrong?” You ask sweetly, walking into the room until you're standing behind him. He looks frustrated, angry and his hair is sticking up in 100 directions.
“I can't get this to look good. I swear I've tried 1,000 times and I just CANT. We're supposed to leave in an hour and you know I HATE my hair down-” He's rambling, obviously frustrated, and his fingers are fumbling with the pins in his hair. He's pulling random pieces out and creating more tangles than necessary in his haste. You just take a breath and shake your head.
“Hey, calm down. Stop messing with it.” You say, bringing a hand to rest on top of his to stop him. “Can I help, baby?” You ask, voice soothing his anger like a balm.
He nods and lets out a pouty “mmhm”, dropping his hands. He looks like a little dejected puppy dog. For such a large and built man, he acts like your little baby sometimes. He'll pout, whine and even cry, but that's one of the many reasons you love him. He's strong, impossibly so, but he's also loving and soft and emotional. Something like ruined hair can, and has, brought him to tears. Just like puppies, a cute video, a romance movie, or even you looking far too beautiful.
You pull up a chair behind him, sitting as you begin your work. You remove the bobby pins, then the hair ties, and he hands you the brush.
“You know, I really love your hair down, baby.” You say, running the brush through gently. There's many tangles now, but you're efficient and gentle. The feeling of your hands running through his hair immediately calms him.
“You're the only one who's allowed to see it. I hate it.” He says, looking at you through your reflection. “It's boring.”
“It's far from boring. You look really good, Cho. Like, I'm almost glad I'm the only one who's allowed to see it. I'm sure some of these girls would be feral if they saw you with your hair all shaggy in your face like this.”
A blush creeps up his cheeks, and he smiles softly at you. You part his hair, a little out in the front and two sections in the back for his buns, just how he likes. He sits still and allows you to work, calm now that you're here to help.
“Thank you for helping, my love. I was getting really mad, I don't know why it wasn't working.” He says, looking a little embarrassed.
“Everyone has bad hair days, Chosie. Or days where things just aren't working” You say, planting a kiss to the top of his head. “Like, my eyeliner wasn't working with me today. I had to take it off.” You say, gesturing to your obviously freshly cleaned eyes.
“I'll help you when you're done with my hair.” He says, as you pull half of his hair into a little bun on one side. You pull out the spiky pieces he likes, and begin securing it with bobby pins. It looks perfect. You move onto the right side, following the same process until it looks identical to the left side.
“There we go. All done.” You say, and he smiles into the mirror.
“They're perfect!” He praises, his smile beaming bright. He turns around, wrapping his arms around your waist and resting his head in your lap. “Thank you, beautiful.”
You smile down at him, and rub his back softly.
“Of course. You know I love when you let me play with your hair.”
“Well, stay right here. Let me go get the liner and I'll return the favor. We'll be ready to go in no time.” He says, excitedly. He comes back with the liner, gently holding the back of your head every so often as he applies it. He's gentle, and skilled, within minutes you have two completely identical sides. He even includes intricate designs to match your outfit, and the entire look comes together perfectly. He looks at you to admire his work, and brings his hands to cup your face.
“You're so beautiful.” He murmurs, his usual love and admiration flooding through his voice. He presses a kiss to your lips, just enough to cause your stomach to flip, before pulling away. He steps away so you can check his work in the mirror. “Do you like it?”
“It's perfect, as always. Thank you, baby!” You beam, admiring his amazing handiwork. You turn back to him, smiling brightly, and he smiles back.
“You really are so beautiful, baby. I almost wish we could stay home cuddling all night instead of the party…” He says, almost wistfully, as if the party is pulling him away from his true calling.
“You're such a homebody. Don't worry, baby. We'll have some fun, see our friends, then get outta there. Then I can help take down your hair and we can cuddle while I run my fingers through it.” You promise, pressing a gentle peck to his cheek before turning to retrieve your shoes.
“Well, then, I'll help you take off your makeup and kiss your perfect face all over. Sounds like the perfect night to me.” He agrees, following you and allowing his large hand to splay across the small of your back as you walk.
As much as he dislikes parties- having you help him get ready, and returning the favor, fills him with such warmth he'd do just about anything for it. So, he smiles and enjoys the fun, for you-all the while daydreaming about the cuddles, kisses and hair touching he's bound to receive as a reward.

an: Levi my king I love you!!

Levi Ackerman had never experienced Halloween. He’d moved to a small town, away from too many people. What he didn't know when he'd originally arrived was how active this small community was. Once the dust settled and Levi adjusted to his new life, there was so much to learn. In the new town, they celebrated so many events, so many holidays that he never even thought could exist. It was overwhelming, so he avoided it. He didn't know what any of these holidays meant for a while, so he ignored them. He was generally solitary these days, interacting with people in the town square and markets but otherwise keeping people at arm's length.
This year, however, he'd found a woman who'd taken a liking to him and had been patient enough to get through to him. She loved to teach him everything he'd missed out on. That woman was you.
As hard as it was to open up, Levi had allowed himself the comfort of you as his lover. It had taken so much patience on your part, but eventually you'd wiggled your way through his walls. After many nights drinking tea with him, many days spent in the markets handing out sweets to children, he'd opened up a bit. You'd sit quietly with him while reading, help him cook dinner, and push his chair around the garden when he'd have a particularly painful day and couldn't walk. You'd kiss his scars, softly, when he touched them too long.
He'd told you about his past, his comrades and friends that he'd lost, his injuries, and the world he'd experienced before. You'd never judged him, not once, since you'd met him. You'd never had a problem with taking care of him when he'd needed it. Once he'd finally opened up to you, he'd allowed himself to soften. He'd allowed himself to love you. He'd allowed himself to settle into a new life and finally opened up to learning more about traditions and holidays.
That's how you ended up here, holding a bowl of candy on Halloween day, showing it to him proudly. You're in your house, closer to the busiest spots of town than Levi's home, so you know you'll get some knocks.
“What is this? A bowl of treats?” He questions, holding a teacup around the rim, in his usual fashion, as he looks up at you from his book.
“It's Halloween, remember?” You say, smile shining bright. “It's for the kids! And we've got all the good stuff!”
He puts his book down and crosses one leg over the other, looking at you as he sips his tea.
“You’ve always got some plan up your sleeve, don't you? Well, tell me how this works, then.” He asks, and you smile brightly.
“Kids will come to the door, you just give them candy. And say Happy Halloween! Easy peasy!” You say, offering the bowl to him.
He smiles softly. “I already give plenty of treats to children in the market. I don't understand the point here. Maybe we should give them some tea instead.”
“We will most certainly *not be the house that hands out anything other than candy. THIS is special because they'll be in cute costumes, maybe some slightly creepy masks. And it's a holiday! So everyone participates!” You say, excitement radiating off of you. “And when it gets a little darker, we can go to the square!” You say, excitedly.
“What's happening in the square?” He questions, placing his teacup down on a saucer on the table.
“The annual party. We all wear costumes, or masks, and go trick-or-treating at different booths. There's food and music.”
“It sounds like a lot of chaos…” He starts, but you pout at him.
“Don't you want to learn more about all the holidays? I think you'll have fun.” You whine playfully, but look at him with a soft gaze. “If you really don't like it, we can go right back home.” You promise.
A knock on the door interrupts you.
“Yay! Come on, Levi!” You say, taking his hand and helping him stand up. He's getting better at walking after his injuries. He'd worked his way up from the wheelchair, only using it on the worst days. On days that he needs a little support, he has his cane or the arm of his girlfriend, who is happy to assist him.
He grabs the candy bowl and walks to the door, opening it. Children in masks, and one with a sheet on their head (with eye holes poked out), greet him with a loud “TRICK OR TREEAATTT!”’
He almost flinches at the noise and squints at them as if he's suddenly forgotten why they're on his porch causing a ruckus. “Good evening.” He greets.
“Give them the candy, love.” You whisper, prompting him.
He nods. “Oh, yes. Here, one for each of you.” He says, dropping a piece into each of the sacks they have extended to him.
“Happy Halloween! We love your costumes!” You add, smiling brightly.
They all reply with a chorus of “thank you” and “Happy Halloween”, to which Levi smiles ever so softly.
“Happy Halloween.” He says, as they all turn to run off. When the door is closed, he turns to you.
“That was nice. I'll go to the square with you. I'd like to see what it's all about. Though, I don't have any costume.”
“I actually made us something…just in case.” You say, turning to walk to a closet and opening it. You step back out, revealing two matching masks in your hands. They're a masquerade style, but opposite halves, and hand-decorated. He steps forward, and you hand him the one you'd made for him. You'd decorated them yourself, and his mask covered the unscarred side of his face.
“You chose to leave my scarred side exposed?” He asks, curiously, as if he'd expected you to hide them away if given the choice. “Why?”
“Because you're perfect, Levi. I don't want you to ever think I want you to cover them up. Mine covers the opposite side of yours.” You say, bringing the mask to your face. “See?” You say, tying the delicate ribbon behind your head. He smiles softly.
“You look beautiful.” He remarks, bringing his mask to his face as well. “Now we match.” He says, tying the ribbons behind his head.
You smile as you hear another knock on the door and open it to see more children. Levi picks up the candy bowl, taking his place next to you.
“I like your masks!” Says a bubbly girl wearing a witch's hat. She has a huge smile on her face, teeth already stained from whatever candy she'd eaten tonight.
“I like your hat!” You say, grabbing some candy from the bowl that Levi is holding and dropping it into her pillowcase.
“Happy Halloween,” Levi says, a soft smile on his lips and a light in his eyes. He's enjoying this. Once the child scampers off and you close the door, he sets the candy bowl down before stepping forward and pulling you close to him. He isn't one for overly sensual touches or too many displays of affection. But right now, he's allowing his arms to wrap around you, he's allowing his head to rest against you for a moment. He breathes in slowly, as if savoring your scent. He pulls away after a moment, and you sit with him on the couch while you await more knocks on the door.
There are a few more groups of kids, but once it's gotten a bit darker, you darken the house to signal that no one is home. You and Levi change clothes, he wearing a fresh button-up and pants, and you wearing a black dress to match your masks.
“I don't know if I should bring my cane,” Levi says, holding it in his hand and turning it over, as if inspecting it.
“How's your leg feeling today?” You ask, gently.
“Not bad... but activity sometimes gives it aches. I just don't really enjoy carrying it around, still. You know, I used to be so much stronger-”
You cut him off with a quick kiss to his lips, one that still leaves him a bit flustered even though you'd done it a hundred times already.
“Stop it. You're extremely strong. I'll carry it for you.” You say, taking it from his hand. “Let me know if you need it.”
“You don't have to do that for me.” He protests, but you're already holding up a hand to shush him.
“Nonsense. It's cute with my outfit, don't you think?” You say, twirling around and showing it off as if it's the best accessory you've ever used.
He smiles softly. He's not oblivious; he knows what you're doing. You're trying to comfort him, to remind him that the cane doesn't matter, that it doesn't take away from his strength. He appreciates it more than you'll ever know.
The square is a short walk from your house, and Levi's hand rests on your waist the entire way. Once you arrive, he stops to take in the scene around him. It's decorated, with lanterns hanging everywhere to light up the dark. People are dancing to music all around the square as if they don't have a care in the world. There are booths with free treats, candies, and drinks. There are a few merchants offering services and goods, even scary masks and costumes for sale.
He looks around, his fingers flexing against your waist slightly like he's a little nervous.
“Wow. This really is quite the celebration.” He comments. “Everyone's so lively.”
“Is it too much? We don't have to stay, honey.” You offer, leaning into him and placing a comforting kiss on his cheek. “I'm sure some of them have been drinking; there's usually a little of that at these get-togethers.”
“No. Don't start worrying, darling. I've dealt with much more than a few drunken dancers and some music. You said you wanted to see the booths, right?” He says, pulling you in closer.
“Yeah! Look, over there, if we grab a basket, we can trick or treat at some of the booths!” You say, pointing.
“Lead the way, then.” He says, and you let out an excited little squeal before heading off to the baskets. Once you've each retrieved a basket, you head to one of the booths with candy.
“Trick or treat!” You say, holding out the basket. You nudge Levi with your elbow, and he clears his throat.
“Oh, uh, trick or treat?” He says, a confused tilt to his voice like he doesn't fully understand the point of this, but he's trying anyway.
The woman, dressed as a scarecrow, drops candies into your basket.
“Happy Halloween, you two. Make sure to go to Ethyl’s booth, she's got handmade pastries!” She says, smiling warmly. You smile back, nodding.
“Will do, see you later! Happy Halloween!” You reply, taking Levi's hand and leading him away to the other booths. You visit each booth, even finding tea for Levi to drink when he needs to sit down for a moment. And while he doesn't dance himself, he watches you as he sips his tea with an endearing smile on his face. When you're out of breath from dancing with all your friends and neighbors, you come back to the bench he's sitting on. He's got his cane leaning against his leg, and you rest your head on his shoulder as you sit down.
“Thank you for coming with me, Levi. I think I'm ready to go home now.” You say, quietly.
“Thank you for showing me all that life has to offer.” He replies, kissing your head swiftly and taking his cane in one hand. He doesn't even hesitate about the cane this time; he just stands and extends a hand to you to help you up. “I think the cane looks a little better with my outfit. ” He teases you, as if he's only using it as an accessory and not to help him walk.
“You know what, I think you're right. I think it makes you look really hot.” You say, smirking at him.
“You say the same thing about my scars.” He says, beginning the walk back to your house, using his cane as an aid.
“Yes, I do. They're just another thing that makes you who you are. I think everything about you is perfect. Scars and cane included.”
“Well, then I think I'll have to use it more often.” He comments, smiling as you walk side by side.
“And I think everything about you is perfect, too.”
He'll never be able to express to you just how much your love and adoration mean to him, but he can try. He's never been great at affirming words and love, but he's learning every day. He pulls you closer to him, so his hand can travel from your hand to your waist instead.
“I love you, Levi. Happy Halloween.” Your voice is quiet, soft, full of all the love in the world.
“I love you, too. Happy Halloween, love.” He replies. He doesn't say it out loud, but he's already thinking about the rest of the holidays you'll be spending with him from now on. He's not sure how long you'll be here to love him, to show him everything he's missed out on, but forever sounds good.
