Prompt Submissions Now Open!

Hello everyone! It’s been a few months since the last SladeRobin week ended, which means it’s now time to start preparing for our annual mini event, designed to help us survive through to October again. This year’s mini-event will be taking place on April 16-18th, and as you all know, the first step in putting the event into motion is gathering some prompts for you all to choose from!

Prompt submissions will stay open Wednesday, January 20th, and you can submit your ideas by sending them to this blog in the form of an ask.

There is no limit to how many prompts you can submit, however all prompts should be reasonably short and able to be open to interpretation by writers and artists. For example, prompts such as Vampire AU, Time Travel, Future State, or even a short piece of dialogue like “Wait, don’t!” are fine. A detailed synopsis for a fully plotted story you’d like to see is not. Please think carefully before submitting your ideas, as any prompts that don’t fit these guidelines will not be added to the final list for voting. Similarly, if we get multiple prompts submitted that are very similar to each other, the mods will usually pick just one to put on the list, so don’t worry if you don’t see your prompt with the exact phrasing you used on the poll when it goes up.

The atmosphere in the room is cold as Slade finishes speaking, not that he expected anything different from the boy sitting across from him. Prince Jason Todd-Wayne of Gotham has been his captive now for over a year and a half. Time that, for all its ups and downs, has made sure the news Slade has just given him will be less than welcome.

“You’re getting rid of me.” Jason says, flatly.

“I am returning you home,” Slade replies, “As per my instructions. Considering that’s all you’ve whined for since the day we’ve met, one would think you’d be grateful.”

“I haven’t asked for that for a long time,” Jason protests, shifting the bundle in his arms uneasily, “And besides, my circumstances since then have…” He looks down, “Changed.”

Yes, Slade thinks, they most certainly have.
