I love that Matt and Dex are both 40+ and living lives that should have reasonably killed them *permanently* several times over, by now … I love that they canonically have grey hairs (though Dex likely started going grey in his 20s) and new lines on their faces that weren’t present when they first met. I love that Matt is covered in poorly-healed scars and Dex has medical implants that make his joints audibly pop.

#UGH me tooooo!!!!!#them old married couple hhnn #okay hear me out BUT what if they are married for years? like... they're still bullseye and daredevil. still enemies but they're married hh #au where one day they have a fight? maybe Dex started it dunno he put himself in danger. maybe took a dangerous mission this time #and barely made it out alive if it wasn't for matt to show up and save his girl then dex would be dead #and matt is concerned he's sad and wants dex to stop taking assassin missions #i can make a living for two of us dex... I want you to stop it....#but dex is stubborn and loves matt's attention like that so he says no! he pouts and says 'Im not your staying home wife!#so they stop talking for some time hhnnn they miss each other but cus them stupid then they wont talk to each other for some time #till dex does take another dangerous mission again and puts himself in danger and this time matt shows up at last minute cus he didnt know #and was shocked for a second there cus he couldnt hear dex's heart beat hhnn going through panic attack for a moment there #dex we both are old enough to not do this to each other... my love please stop doing this #but dex is a little troublemaker so he says no and keeps doing just that! till matt wakes up one day #going through old couple routine together. brushing teeth together. having breakfast together #and matt sighs after his second coffee cup...announces that he wants a divorce TvT says he's too old for their game...#dex darling I think it'd be for the best...#cus he can't stand seeing dex dying and can't always be there for him TvT and dex just nods from the other side of their table.... says 'ok #'just that?okay? that all you say? after years being married? you don't really care....do you?' matt just scoffs humorlessly.#sounding cold and it wont take long till they're signing divorce papers TvT dex is KINDA shell shocked but he's like 'it was what matt-#-wanted so it's right for both of us... ugh I just love angst with these two! TvT Matt doesn't even look at him when he turns to leave #and dex cries in his bed that night hhnn alone without having matt to collect him in his arms and soothe him #maybe he did WRONG this time..maybe he over stepped.. maybe he disobeyed badly but it was just how they were?? no??#he disobeys and matt forgives and forgets and pounds him sweetly later in their bed but GAH he misses matt! TvT #he still wears the ring.. still takes route for his morning jogging to Matt's office hhnn just to have a glimpse of him behind window #Matt doesn't call BUT of course he watches dex from afar... makes Karen to read newspaper for him so he can follow Bullseye news TvT #heart making a scary flip when he hears Dex was seen on some parts of the city.. still scared his beloved might get hurt one of these days!#ugh my boy still misses his wife okay?! TvT dex too hhnn he starts taking more missions to stop the noise in his head! gets more reckless #omg sorry op for long tag hhnnn it got outta hand TvT guess I reached the limit too welp! XP
