this is kinda related to the sleep positions ask game but for context i put on asmr to sleep. i did it even before i embraced being fictionkin so ive known for a long time that i like to pick them so they're in "theme" with my current shift. and right now my search history is all noir office ambiance and detective interrogation rp 😭😭😭 so maybe i like to pretend its sam and/or flint paper. alright, here’s a silly little ask game; fictives and kinfolk of fictionkinfessions, do your shifts and/or who’s fronting have any impact on the position you sleep in? for example, i tend to sleep curled up on my side, holding a small snuffed animal, while our other host prefers a larger pillow that they can hook their leg around while the other remains extended. 🧸🛌

Re: sleeping positions: shifts affect how much I curl up or need a thing to hug, as does who is fronting, but we are all side sleepers

For sleeping I think it's the other way around. My shifts don't effect how I sleep but sometimes the way I sleep will cause me to have certain kinfeels more than others. For example, sleeping with with window open makes me feel Guybrush Threepwood-ish, whereas sleeping with a plushie makes me feel Deuu Dino-ish

oh hi the sleep question is directed at ME!! if i get stuck in too deep of a Stanley Pines (gravity falls) kin shift i cannot sleep unless i'm listening to ocean noises. like i just cant sleep. i wish i could be on a boat so bad during those times i think the gentle rocking would heal my soul. there r a few other shifts where i need specific kinds of white noise, which is so strange considering i usually hate having any sound when i sleep. i guess sometimes i like being able to pretend im back there, and sound helps a lot. but stan is a super specific example of which i got so used to how goooodddd sleeping on a boat is...
