Something soft to think about in these stressful times, since I know you love sleepy hcs as much as me: Fahc Gavin loves people resting on him more than anything. It's such a big show of trust, that they can not only lay down and feel safe with him nearby, but that they're more comfortable close to him. Gav does love causing mischief and poking at the others but he can never bring himself to do it when they're curled up on him, the moment is too precious and he doesn't want to lose it

I love this because normally it’s the other way around? Like, normally it’s Ryan loving when Gavin curls up on his lap, or something of that nature.

But I like the concept of Gavin flipping through TV channels with Michael sitting next to him. It’s dark and quiet, after a long day of peeps, and next thing he knows Michael has fallen asleep against his side. Gavin’s somewhat uncomfortable but is also so flattered that Michael trusts him enough to protect him while he rests. So he just gently shifts the sleeping boi until he can softly stroke his hair, letting Michael sleep.

The same concept with any of the other rough boys like Ryan or Jeremy, but consider Geoff falling asleep in a chair next to Gavin as they work side by side in the office. And Gavin’s heart goes out and he covers Geoff in a flannel he’s wearing and ruffles his hair and presses a kiss on his forehead, keeping watch as his boss finally sleeps.

Or Jack, the powerhouse she is, finally slumping onto his lap. She was reading with her head in his lap for a long time and he was enjoying playing with her hair, but when he glances down she’s dropped her book and was snoring against his belly. He gently marks the page she was on and just holds her close to him while she gets some well deserved rest.

After walking ATLEAST 7 miles by a river, climbing steep banking, seeing a beautiful sunset, climbing a barbed wire fence, walking through a private farm field, sneaking past the farmhouse, climbing 2 gates, crossing a dual carriageway, walking through 2 fields and finally finding a busstop- I am FINALLY in bed with sore legs, a headache and a nettled finger. That's my exercise done for the year.
