I feel like Slenderman being a fatherly figure- Or should I say Slenderdad, would make sense. Or atleast in my AU.

He knows that more proxies equal more power, now this could easily go down the route of "Oh he thinks they're just disposable" but if you want to be fun, look at it this way:

He collects his little proxies to gain more power and he nurtures and cares for them all. Tending to them like little flowers in his garden. Little proxies in his mansion.
