AHHH that makes me so happy!!! I love motivating people tbh. I usually spend my time screaming at @botanistlester tbh but like I always want to spread it further and since I don’t have the energy to beta a lot of fics I try and do other little things that encourage people instead?

yes! #spon but I actually made and shared a playlist based on the fic, which is what I usually listen to when I’m working on fics in that universe, which can be found here! (but two by sleeping at last is probably the song I think goes with the fic, or at least the beginning of it, best!)

E: If you wrote a sequel to [spiral of lies], what would it be about?

I really didn’t expect to get any asks about that fic wow but um I think the obvious answer is Dan coming out to his mum/parents and eventually just being honest with her. I think I’d probably go the route of kinda unspoken “he knows she knows” type thing, where she never says it but Dan can tell she sees through the lie, which would eventually culminate in him telling her

for the anon - i completely understand what you mean and it is disheartening. i have friends who love dnp and are writers but i feel like i’m annoying them. and then i had some who don’t like dnp and made me feel awful about writing but as long as you’re enjoying writing that’s all that matters. someone out there loved what you wrote whether you know or not just remember that. and if you ever need help or just wanna bounce ideas or something feel free to message me!
