what i find so lovely about amy friend´s photography is that she really prioritizes the emotional experience, instead of the image. the images are always blurry and she pokes into them with holes so that what is emotionally there shines through what is phisically there. which is how meaning forms, filling the holes and interpreting the blurriness. her work is very close to what walking through the world feels like to me
