While traveling to Costa Rica, I just had to visit the Sloth Sanctuary in Puerto Limon! As a true lover of all animals, and active in the wellness of rescued animals, this was top on my list to visit.

I took the “Buttercup Tour“, which was really awe-inspiring of these unique little creatures. As these unique animals are very very very slow to move, they become targets for cruel people. Many are also rescued from streets and power lines.
