Ingredients: 1.5 lbs beef stew meat, cubed. 4 potatoes, diced. 3 carrots, sliced. 1 onion, chopped. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 can 14.5 oz diced tomatoes. 4 cups beef broth. 1/4 cup all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon salt. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. 1 teaspoon dried thyme. 1 bay leaf.
Instructions: Put flour, salt, and pepper in a bowl and coat the beef stew meat with it. In the slow cooker, put the beef that has been coated, potatoes, carrots, onion, and garlic. Put beef broth, chopped tomatoes, thyme, and a bay leaf in the slow cooker. Leave the lid on and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours, until the meat and vegetables are soft. Take the bay leaf off before you serve.
