Surprise! More Nerevar! (it's not a surprise)
To his allies, his people, and his friends, he is very sociable and charming. Friendly and warm and usually makes people feel relaxed (which is good when he’s trying to trick someone). While this can be a rouse, it is often genuine as well, especially to those he's already close to. He dislikes and struggles to understand the constraints of upper class social interaction and movements, and loses his patience with them, but it’s a skill he builds as he becomes Hortator and later King. To his enemies he’s very different though. He’s described as the “son of Boethiah”, so he’s cunning, not afraid to deceive, and brutal on the battlefield. There aren’t many he’s like that with outside of the battlefield, but on it is where he feels most alive, most assured, and most like himself.
While I mainly characterize him as charming and friendly, that’s really only how he’s like around his inner circle and people he views as potential allies (or just allies). He can be incredibly intimidating, cunning, and scary around his enemies though, really living up to the title of warlord. As he gets older and his patience (and younger self) wanes, his good natured side starts becoming more of a rarity reserved just for his inner circle.
TY for the ask!
