Here’s another character design I’ve been doing for the past week since my last post! I worked tirelessly on this getting ideas from the shows I liked watching like Owl House (2020) or Gravity Falls (2012). Here are some of the work I worked on! Hope you like it.
The pajama sets are inspired by Hunter (left) and Luz (right). The one on the left is inspired by puppet Hunter in season 3 and shows off crescent moon shapes and star shapes along with the color schemes from Hunter’s color palette. While the one on the left has Luz’s color palette and shows off star and crescent moon shapes. I copy and used the color from puppet Luz showings off colors such as purples with different hues.
This one was favorite to work on and you can see why I played with the patterns from the collector who shows up in season 3 of Owl House. While taking some inspiration from the collector I also used clothing ideas from Adult Luz. The pajama patterns were easy to differentiate with set of pajamas are you can see that I used shapes to define them. It’s not a hit or miss with these pajamas.
Finally the last one I worked on. Both clothing are inspired by Star Butterfly from a sketch I found on Pinterest. For the color scheme I took from Willow (right) and Bill Cipher (left) and used it for the clothing color palettes. This was a difficult design to pull off cuz I noticed that in Bill’s sona his clothing are triangular while my character is rounded pulling this off wasn’t the easiest to say. So, using Star Butterfly’s sketch really came in handy for the skirts. And again I used both color schemes from Willow and Bill.
