I think you recognize this scenario, right? Yes, it's from that game "that's not my neighbor", which is about preventing doppelgangers from entering the building. To be honest, I was just going to draw Makoto, but then OUT OF NOWHERE I thought of drawing Nocturnal Detective Agency and Kurumi in all of this. Everyone in the image is an impostor, even Yuma there who seems the most "normal" among the others. In addition to looking deformed, or missing something, they appear much paler than normal. Some impostors do not know how to 100% imitate the appearance of the original.
I don't know if the doppelgangers could copy the homunculi and imitate their same pink blood, I think I put that in for static, I decided to draw them, because I wanted to improve some points, like Vivia's hair which seems to have turned out better than the last time I drew him, My favorites in this are definitely Yakou and Makoto (and Vivia too), and they would probably be the first doppelgangers in this story.
The imposter Yakou's broken neck is based on the Crooked Man from an RPG game, it's not just a story about a monster chasing the protagonist, but anyway, the game's monster looks really good, a tall man with a broken neck who only knows how to roar like a hunting animal. I was also thinking about a Yakou with that appearance chasing Yuma, and clearly you guys aren't that surprised that Yuma is the victim. xD
