Hot on the heels of her limited-edition lipstick partnership with MAC, Caitlyn Jenner is now fronting an entire collection for the make-up brand. MAC released the first campaign image of the 67-year-old transgender reality star earlier today. In it, Caitlyn wears a low-cut gold dress that shows off her cleavage. On one side, a strap falls halfway down her shoulder, while her long, wavy brown hair cascades down the other. Her eyes are closed, highlighting her shimmering, gilded lids and long lashes, and a wash of red makes her lips pop. The make-up, of course, is all part of the 15-piece line that will be available in stores and on maccosmetics.com January 5. In October, Caityln tweeted that $1.3M from it had been donated to 21 trans organizations throughout the US. In an interview with MAC at the time of the launch, Caitlyn talked about why she decided to do the line: 'MAC was the first to come to me, and a company, I realized, would really make a big commitment.' she said...
Never mind the magic of HRT+implants; check out the prices for her products (which is why I linked to this version of the story)! So is this how she'll supplement her income to make up for the cancellation of I Am Cait? It appears that none of the profits from her line, other than the one-off lipstick last year, are going to LGBTQ charities, so if I had the cash money I'll stick with the line promoted by Jen Richards and Silas Howard, thank you very much.
