4. What's your Snape OTP?

I ship him with a nice cup of tea, a good book, and some fucking peace and quiet in his life.

8. What's one of the dumbest headcanons you have for Snape?

I don't know if it's dumb, per se, but I like to think he and McGonagall get together regularly to drink tea, play chess, and talk shit.

15. If he'd lived, how do you think he would have gone on with his life?

He would probably stop teaching if he was no longer beholden to Dumbledore and responsible for protecting Harry. I think he would probably want to go into a career that uses his skills and helps people, given all his guilt and trauma. Probably something in St. Mungo's, but maybe more in the area of developing cures rather than administering them. Something that doesn't involve having to deal with patients (can you imagine his bedside manner? nonexistent) and doesn't involve having to answer to any boss. And probably comes with an assistant or someone who can deal with all the administrative crap he would hate. He might even teach, given that anyone who would be his student there would have had to have aced their exams and be reasonably intelligent.

Unpopular opinion: Finn’s voice was... not that great? In fact, it was pretty bad? Which is fine in the grand scheme of things, but the whole setup of the show at first was about how Finn was the only vocalist who could match Rachel’s voice, yet... his voice was pretty awful. It was ok for rock songs I guess, but for matching Rachel’s voice..... nah.

Honestly I think that’s where a lot of my dislike from Finn comes from? Like they make him out to be some sort of vocal god and the only one that can keep up with Rachel (when Artie has a great voice and Kurt can vocally run circles around her lol). They just put him on this pedestal as a person and as a performer, when his voice is only okay 

Like he sounds really good in some rock songs, like you said. Like Hello, I Love You and Jesse’s Girl? Those were good. That’s where his talents lie :P Also the fact that he had to match Rachel at all, bc they were the only ones that could sing solos and duets in competitions :) (It got a little better in s3 but still)

Sorry if someone has asked you this before. Being former far right, how would you suggest we should talk to far right people to help them see the error of their ways? As cognitive dissonance and plain stubbornness are sometimes extremely difficult hurdles to get over.

It’s hard to say because it heavily depends on the person being willing to adjust their views based on new evidence. A thing my mom used to say is it’s just a matter of the words going those two inches from your ear to your brain. A lot, and I mean a LOT of Right-wingers are bigger on faith than on science, meaning facts don’t factor into the formation of their views: they just go with whatever they WANT to be true and make sticking to that a personal value statement.

If they’re religious, use the actual words of their texts to try to get through to them. The Bible, for example, spends a lot of copy on telling people to be nice to immigrants & foreigners, protect children, pay their taxes, and support the poor financially & socially. Point out the Sermon on the Rock in particular.

If they’re a douchebag mayo atheist, that’s when you bring the studies. Manipulating their fragile sense of intellectual superiority is a dangerous game, but it could pay off; if someone feels like their intelligence is being questioned, they’re going to get defensive, and it’s a very individual thing whether they’ll try to absorb new information to prove you wrong or just curl up into a ball crying into their Mountain Dew while hurling bigoted insults to try to derail.

1. Favorite fic you wrote this year?

I would have to sayyyyy Felonies, Facades, and Another Word that Starts with "F" mainly because it was the most ambitious one, with me writing and posting smut for the first time. So it was me taking a chance in putting that kind of work out there.

12. Favorite character to write about this year?

The Sheriff of Nottingham holds a special place because I can write him either as goofy as I want, as freaky as I want, or add depth to his character how I see fit based on the movie and scenes. He just has a lot of versatility that I can work around with, being predictably unpredictable.

15. Something you learned this year?

With writing? Well writing smut I guess, and also German phrases, and history related to Australia and the racism against the Aboriginal people. I know thats more than one thing but I guess the list can be wide for me cause I am constantly trying to learn more when I write.

24. Favorite fic you read this year?

Not saying this because you're the one asking me lol but I really did enjoy your long fic "For the love of books" (if I am remembering the name right off the top of my head). Typically, I dont read charatcer x oc fics, but I gave it a shot and I really enjoyed what I read! Makes me wanna read more of character x oc, and want to create those kinds of fics as well
